Mikulas Guest House — Hotel in Liptovský Mikuláš

I have spent a whole week with my kids in this guest house while visiting the area. Not only was the place in a great location, given its peaceful neighborhood which is very close (4 minutes walk) to a shopping maĺl and the main square, but we have spent a lot of time in the garden, yard and the inside of the house as well. My kids enjoyed playing in the garden alone or with other kids who were staying in the guest house. Kitchen is well equipped and the room and bathroom were perfect size for us, mattresses were comfortable. The manager is available for questions and could assist us with anything, there is a high chair for kids as well as some equipment and toys to be borrowed for smaller babies. This is a very family friendly place though many other guests were not families with small kids. Walking distance to bus stops and the train station is a huge plus. Not only was he friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived, but he also went the extra mile by washing and hanging out our clothes—just so we could make our train on time. Rooms are very tidy and comfy, bathrooms quite small but were enough for us. Kitchen with all utensils, living room and table tennis for guests use. Tea and coffee always available. Reasonable price. Very hospitable, likable and helpful owner Daniel, speaking fluently in English. He helped us in choosing best hiking routes and public transport.
