YUZA Restaurant — Restaurant in Liptovský Mikuláš

I recently visited this restaurant in Liptovský Mikuláš with my girlfriend, but unfortunately, I have to share an experience that wasn’t ideal. I ordered a medium rare steak, but the one I received was more cooked, somewhere around medium well. I politely informed the staff and requested a new steak that would match my original order.

When the steak was brought back, I had the feeling it was the same piece I had already cut, which the staff strongly denied, claiming they had prepared a new one. Upon inspecting the steak, it still didn’t seem to be medium rare, as I had asked.

I understand that mistakes can happen, and I appreciate the staff’s efforts, but I believe the level of customer service and the attempt to resolve my request could have been better. Every guest deserves to have their food prepared exactly as they wish, which, unfortunately, was not the case here.

On the positive side, the environment and overall atmosphere of the restaurant were pleasant, and we were satisfied with that. I also greatly appreciate that they offered us a discount at the end as compensation for the misunderstanding, which was a nice gesture.

Reštaurácia YUZA sa v opakovanej reinkarnácii opäť ukázala ako jedno z najlepších miest na gastronomickej scéne mesta. Pri každej návšteve ma teší, že si stále drží svoj vysoký štandard prostredia a kvality jedál. Už som mal možnosť ochutnať takmer všetko z ich ponuky a musím povedať, že som veľmi spokojný.

Kuchyňa je moderná a kreatívna, pričom každé jedlo je pripravené s maximálnou starostlivosťou a dôrazom na detaily. Kvalita surovín a ich prezentácia sú na špičkovej úrovni. YUZA by však mohla ponúkať sezónne jedlá a kvartálnu obmenu jedálnička, čo by ešte viac oživilo ich už tak pestrú ponuku.

Obzvlášť chcem vyzdvihnúť fantastickú obsluhu, ktorá toto miesto robí jednotkou. Personál je vždy profesionálny, priateľský a ochotný, čo pridáva k celkovému zážitku z návštevy.

Celkovo je pre mňa YUZA jednoznačne jednou z najlepších reštaurácií v meste a teším sa na každú ďalšiu návštevu. Ak hľadáte miesto, kde si môžete vychutnať skvelé jedlo v príjemnom prostredí, určite odporúčam práve YUZU.

Restaurant YUZA, in its repeated reincarnation, has once again proven to be one of the best places on the city's culinary scene. Each visit delights me as they continue to maintain their high standards in both ambiance and food quality. Having had the opportunity to taste nearly everything on their menu, I must say I am very satisfied.

The kitchen is modern and creative, with each dish prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. The quality of ingredients and presentation are top-notch. However, YUZA could benefit from offering seasonal dishes and quarterly menu changes to further enliven their already diverse offerings.

I especially want to highlight the fantastic service that makes this place a top choice. The staff is always professional, friendly, and attentive, adding to the overall experience.

Highly recommend to visit this place if you want to feel uncomfortable. It seems to be posh (according to most of the customers) but how can you allow someone enter such a nice restaurant wearing the joggers? They can be branded but still, it's just joggers - absolutely inappropriate dress code. Soup was okay, poor pieces of pork tenderloin super dry and over-roasted, but very nice plating.
