I recently visited the restaurant/bar of this establishment with my partner for lunch. I should have read the warning signs when I saw it was empty while all food places nearby were full. We opted to sit inside and picked a seat. A waitress approached promptly and took our order of Caesar salad and a tandoori salad. We received it appropriately 20 minutes later and upon starting discovered a long black curly hair. I called the waiter who apologised and took it away and returned approximately 10 minutes later. After ,nobody approached us to enquire how was it or would we require anything however We could hear the staff members behind the bar laughing and joking. When we finished nobody came to ask about tea/ etc so we went to the bar and paid. I decided to lodge my unhappiness with the service and spoke with a polite receptionist who apologised and called to the restaurant. Read moreGrand Hotel in Trenčín is a lovely place to stay, especially for those looking to relax. The rooms are bright, clean, and well-supplied offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Although, in real smaller than seemed on photos The spa is a highlight, with a a peaceful atmosphere and enough privacy. The sauna and relaxation areas are well-maintained, providing the perfect way to unwind and recharge. The hotel is quite small and the spa too, which means fewer people will disturb your peace. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to offer assistance. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Trenčín Castle and nearby shops and cafes, making it easy to enjoy the sights and good food or drinks places. One small downside is that the rooms can be a bit noisy, especially if you’re near the street, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Overall, Grand Hotel offers a relaxing stay in an excellent location, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great choice for...

The breakfast choices were delicious and the staff were helpful. They were especially patient with me as I attempted to speak Slovak again. However, this was not the case as we had to pay for that service when we checked out. So I would recommend that you make this clearer to...
