Pension Scarlet — Hotel in Trenčín

This unpromising looking pension was one of our best stays in Eastern Europe. It is located down a laneway, and the name hardly inspires. But this is a very clean B & B with tasteful furnishings that give the rooms a homely feel. The rooms are long and narrow and each has a great view of Trencin castle towering overhead. I stayed here for 1 night. The accomodation is in the centre of the old town. It's ideal for local restaurants and bars. I was in Trencin to watch the UEFA Under 21 Finals. The ground was nearby. I was room only. It was a basic room but clean and cost 53 Euro for the night. There was a 3 key entry to get to my room. 1 was to open a gate through an alley way, 2 was to gain access to the accomodation and 3 to open the room...

This is a small family-run pension in the city centre, nearby all restaurants, monuments and ca. 10 minutes from the Hrad. We were really suprised by the atmosphere we could feel there. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very polite and friendly. Also the room looked like a real appartament.||Great...
