Grand Hotel Donat Superior — Hotel in Rogaška Slatina

NO VALUE FOR MONEY I booked through the website kupime.hr expecting to be greeted by a miracle hotel, but upon arriving at the hotel we saw that it was in a dilapidated state. A 4-star hotel that normally costs around 280 euros per night has the most uncomfortable bed, offers two pillows, one of which has a ruined pillowcase, the other a small decorative one that you have no idea if they wash it at all. The TV is ancient and has no picture quality, no Netflix or similar packages. The floor of the room is dirty and old. When you are in the bathroom, when the room above you flushes, you hear it as if you are alone in that toilet. Dirty and old. Out of 6 saunas, 3 are working, the foot massager does not work, nor the indoor jacuzzi. Sauna hours from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Also in need of a major renovation. The pool is ok, nothing special. We go down to dinner in an old restaurant where the plastic chairs are covered with some dilapidated tablecloths. Dinner selection of cold appetizers (3 types of cheese, "tuna" carpaccio), salad selection, main course (there was no more salmon, cold chicken skewers, stew and some kind of meat in sauce), side dishes (mashed potatoes, some kind of risotto, paella) and sweet three types of cakes. Are you telling me that this is premium for a 4+ star hotel where a night costs almost 300 euros? After that, we go to the reception where we say that we are dissatisfied, but the employee tells me that we can be happy because we did well with this payment via coupon (we paid 3 days and 2 nights full board 364 euros) because otherwise that price is for one night. We have stayed from 30/12/22 till 2|02/01/23. We have booked this hotel because of good price, and wellnes options and gala dinner on 31/12.|Receptionist and cleaning maids are 5 stars. But everything else is belove standard. Wellnes centar worked from 12 till 6pm on 31/12. In description writes 3 pools. For use in winter there is only one pool (inside) where half of hotel comes, and it gets crowded so the relaxation experience vanished. Hotel has about 5 working saunas. Gala dinner on 31/12 was fail (even tho they refunded as a 40% of price for dinner) and i have need to share that. Dinner began in 8pm. About an hour was needed to start first course of meal, after that came second starter and it was most neutral soup in my life. Live music was terrible with singing Ave Maria on a new year. What to say? We got up from table 2 hours before new year and went to Celje to celebrate New Year. I feel bad for waiteres in restaurant because looking at them for two days I had feeling that they doesn't go home (one young waiteres had exact bad hairstyle for 31/12 and 1/1 like she didn't went home but stayed working). 5 waiteres on 250people, what to say.|Feeling betrayed and never again.
