Mandalay Beach Guest House — Hotel in Blouberg

My wife and I truly enjoyed our 12 night stay at the Mandalay Beach Guest House. Sharl and Jennifer, the owners, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made our vacation stress free. The wonderful breakfasts we enjoyed will live with us for a very long time. We varied our breakfasts, some days having crepes, other times the omelette option while yet other times the full English Breakfast with chicken sausages (we arraigned with the guest house before our arrival). The Mandalay Beach Guest House is situated in a safe area that is within a 10 minute walk to the beach. The property is very well managed, and the garden is so beautiful! We wanted a quiet area away from the many noises associated with vacation spots, and this guest house delivered! A place where you can relax while being a few minutes away from the vacation hotspots. The Mandalay Beach Guest House is also close to Cape Town. My wife and I got an Uber (Comfort) during peak hour for $10, what a good deal. I am glad I chose this place over any one of the mainstream Hotels and others. It was a family stay and we stayed in the family room which was really lovely and had everything that could be required by people during the stay. We were made to feel welcomed and were really catered for and looked after. Every consideration and effort was made for us to feel welcome. Our dietary needs were met and every time there were any issues or assistance required, we were happily assisted. This sort of care and consideration is rarely felt in the service industry these days and this was greatly appreciated. ||||On the stay itself, everything was seamless, breakfasts were great and staff attentive. ||||There is safe parking, the area itself is quite safe and just a few roads away from ammenities. I can praise Sharl and Jennifer enough! What an amazing experience I have had at their Guest House.

My room was spacious and clean. I had a King Size bed with lots of cupboard space.

My room led onto the garden and pool, so all I had to do was open my sliding door to to hear the birds chirping.

The garden is lush and very well maintained.

Breakfast has a number of options which are all very tasty.

The location is in a beautiful area and is very close to the beach. I spent many afternoons and weekends after work taking a walk along the beachfront.

I was there for a long stay for work and they attended to my every need. They both went above and beyond to make me feel at home and comfortable.

I can be very fussy and particular about certain things and they took it all in their stride.

They are not only great hosts but good people.

This will be the only place I stay in CT going...
