My wife and I checked in on 31st October, check in etc reasonable. Took some of our luggage up to the room, we were motorbiking, and when we went down to fetch the balance, noticed guests coming in with cooler boxes. Nevertheless, when we got back up to our room, room 810, the noise had started. We went down to dinner at 6:30, as we were advised on checking in that dinner was served from that time, we were told that it was only served from 7:00 pm. When I noticed that the bar area was closed, I was told that no alcohol was served in the hotel due to Covid 19. Never mind that a 21st birthday party was being held and alcohol was flowing freely! We were advised that if we would like a drink, we should join the 21st Birthday party. Uninvited, really??? When we went back to our room to think about our stay, we listened to the awful noise coming from rooms around us and left the hotel to find another place to stay. Fortunately The Hamptons across the road had a room for us and accommodated us at 7:30pm in the evening. What a blessing for us. When we collected the balance of our luggage the following morning, as we had paid for the room on arrival, the manager was nowhere to be found and the "receptionist" was not interested in the least with her sullen attitude. Very disappointing. When we reported the noise to the receptionist the previous evening, we were told that it was probably the noise from one of the downstairs rooms. The Osner? Never again. It was an...
Read moreOkay, firstly the lady at the reception was great. She greeted us with a friendly smile and helped us with the same energy. We got our room, it was neat and tidy, very clean. But, we noticed that there is no fridge (we had brought wine with us) and there was no microwave, like in this modern day. There's enough space for a microwave and a bar fridge, they should start investing in those. And the other thing was they should start investing in shower mats and curtains. After taking a shower the floor is always wet. Oh and a TV stand please, or Hang it on the wall, it will make the room more fashionable. Otherwise, it's a great 👍place to stay, great view, sunrise in the morning, the beach and all. And they've got safe parking. But please, do something about the fridge, you only have them on the 8th floor, which is what I don't understand. Had a...
Read moreI was booked in the lodge/b&b BT I had to stay over the hotel.due to me coming late to book in ... Ever since Covid I don't want to sleep at a hotel because it's movement of alot of people plus I must go eat dinner and breakfast at the same time every one is eating... I also found out even if I had stayed at the BnB I still had to eat dinner and breakfast at the hotel. It's will be my last stay because I prefer my privacy and also want to eat when I want to even I had received a voucher to go by food somewhere else and eat in my room. I give a two star just because the reception who helped me knows about customer service BT further I'm not a satisfied guest. Sorry I understand how things are done there but it's a no from my side. I will be booking out on the 27th January 2022. Clayton Peters is my...
