Great food, great venue, and great service... overall. We did experience a hiccup with the service of the food (i.e. once it arrived at our table) where one of our party's steak was mistakenly given to someone else at the table and they were given a steak drizzled with the wrong sauce (which they were allergic to). This was the only blemish on the evening but it was very unfortunate to have one person sitting and watching everyone else eating while they waited for a replacement steak. That being said, I think the quality of the food and the relative promptness of the meals alleviated a lot of the pain from this mishap. The steak burger that I had was fantastic, and I believe my colleagues loved their eisbaen, their burgers, and their steaks. Even the milkshakes weren't bad. Overall, a quality meal at a reasonable price at a reasonable venue. What stood out for me was how the manager managed to come up with a sensible approach to expanding the size of our booth's table. Spent 3 weeks in the Eastern Cape with a youth project and Cafe Neo became our go-to spot every evening. With a group of 20 hungry young people, I was initially worried about finding a place that could handle us, but the staff here were absolutely fantastic - always attentive, patient, and made sure everyone was looked after. The food was simply incredible. Over 3 weeks of dining here, we didn't have a single disappointing meal. The quality was exceptional throughout, and the variety meant there was something for everyone in our diverse group. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they're serving. There seems to be a problem with service when the place is full. Guy at the door led us to our table but forgot to assign us a waitress. Waited forever for our drinks. Our waitress was missing and we had to wave to the door guy everytime we needed something.

Pro's: Food is always good. Cons: service is a bit shady at times. Cocktails are trash!!! All their cocktails taste like alcohol bombs. The whole idea of a cocktail is a nice tasting drink with a kick. Tried them several times and it's still trash. The cocktails never taste like the stuff that's actually supposed to be in there. Complaining about the cocktails will get you the same generic response without fail: "the barman says he followed the recipe". The chef should teach the barman...
