Jemima's Guest Lodge & Conferencing — Hotel in Eastern Cape

I recently stayed at Jemina's Guest House for three nights, and it was a pleasant experience overall. I stayed in one of the inside rooms, which featured a king-size bed, a TV, air conditioning, and a heater. The bathroom was spacious, with a large bath and a medium-sized shower. Based on my experience, the inside rooms are superior to the outside rooms, which I would rate 5/5 compared to 3/5 for the outside rooms. I didn't get to see the family rooms, so I can't comment on those.

The food was a highlight of the stay, with consistently great-tasting dinners that my colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed. The two ladies at reception were extremely friendly, professional, and patient with our requests, always ensuring a smooth experience. I also appreciated the welcoming interactions with the two gardeners. The staff's hospitality is truly exceptional, deserving a 10/5 rating.

Jemima’s B&B in East London, Eastern Cape may be Four Star, but the service is more than ‘five star’. Manager, Pearl, the Assistant Manager, James and Office Administrator Caitlin go way beyond what could ever be expected of them. The place has a soul. The decor is fabulous, the 15 bedrooms spacious and the conference centre next to the pool ideal for meetings or workshops. ||They are accustomed to business clients who need to leave early and Pearl is there at dawn to give you a seated breakfast or excellent breakfast pack to take with you. In the evenings, the cosy pub becomes a gathering place where kindred spirits meet. To be honest the place was not what I expected, to begin with the pool was dirty and it had to take them at least a day to clean it. The braai area is very dirty looks like it hasn't been used or cleaned in a while. Outside the rooms also looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. The two warm water inn's in the dining area is so dirty u ask yourself if the lady that cleans can't see where the dirt is. Don't think I will ever...
