Blue Diamond Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Gauteng

We had a double booking for the weekend of 15th of March 2025, on booking.com the hotel looked amazing and we booked it, we could have booked at other places that were a couple of hundred rands cheaper, but because of your hotel's pictures we booked with you.

To our surprise when we booked in, from start to finish it was the worst experience we ever had and could not sleep at all.

When we arrived, the receptionist was so incredibly rude. She does not greet and has a very bad attitude and is not helpful at all.

We eventually got to our rooms we noticed the one room's aircon did not work and the other room's fridge did not work either.

We decided to get a drink from the bar and was so baffled that the bar has absolutely no beverages.

We went out and came back to the rooms, my fiance and I decided to take a shower and the drain hole was not fixed and my fiance stepped into some sort of nail and his foot was bleeding and we did not have any band aids or any disinfectant to clean the wound, which is quite bad because we don't know what germs the nail has.

While we were showering the vent in the room fell open for no reason and was quite disturbing.

Then we got into bed after all that and the bed was not made up properly, the linen was just pushed in and the linen had pink marks on it, with stains.

The walls had spiders on and cockroaches on the roof, the aints also invaded our food and drinks.

When we open the door to go outside there are no steps to go outside and is dangerous, you can break something if you don't climb out properly into the mud.

The cupboards also have damp in it.

We tried to report it to reception the next morning and asked the receptionist for an email address to send this complaint to and again she was not helpful and refused to give me the correct...

I booked one night at the hotel and a spa for me and my sister for her 30th birthday. When I phoned the spa a week in advance to book our treatments, I explained that we will be there two hours early to relax in the warm water baths/jacuzzi before our treatments. When we got there we were not welcomed and given gowns like other spa’s do, they just told us that the jacuzzi has been broken for three weeks so there are no warm water relaxation options for us, when I asked the lady why she did not tell me that the week before when I booked the treatments, she pretended that she was not the one I spoke to, it was winter time so we had to leave, sit in the hotel for two hours and then go back. I Booked a hydrating facial, but was also pregnant at the time, and during my facial, it felt like my face was washed two times and after that I received a face, shoulder and head massage for the facial time, and at the end Of the facial she put moisturizer on. My problem is that we pay so much money to have the spa experience. Even though the massage was relaxing, I would prefer the salon informing me that the facial I chose has too many unsafe ingredients for a pregnant person, and then I would have the opportunity to pick another treatment. I paid R580 for a face wash and moisturizer and face and head massage. And the spa prices are usually more expensive so the clients can enjoy the atmosphere and facilities, which we did not due to the dishonesty...
