Rosewood Trails — Restaurant in Gauteng

March 1 2025 we were at this establishment having some food and drinks.

A lady came to our table asking if any one of us drove a Honda, because it was just stolen. Non of us drove a Honda, so we continued to eat and chill.

About a hour or so later, we were informed that 4 other cars have been stolen, and we should go check if it was one of our cars, luckily non of our groups cars were stolen.

I saw a customer driving out with a hilux with a smashed window that was taped to block out the rain.

We spoke to the 1 security guard on site, who also said that there were 4 cars stolen, he was really stressed out, and obviously in a lot of shock.

As you can see by the reply of the owner, apparently this is false, and no cars were stolen… instead of opening a conversation, and really explaining what happened(because something really happened) the owner just gaslights me, I was there, and 20+ other people as well

Im specifically referring to Rosewood trails(not Kimiad) Don’t know why Kimiad is mentioned by the owner. Kimiad has 3 security staff at the front gate, with about 5+ car guards patrolling the parking lot. Rosewood trails has one guy at the front gate, and nobody patrolling the parking lot.

So why did the staff on two separate occasions tell us that cars have been stolen?

Why did the security guard confirm all of the above?

Why did we all have to run out in the storm to go check on our cars?

It's a GEM!! Honestly!!

We had our Year End Function at Rosewood Trails on Friday, 6 December. We opted for the Lamb Spit with baby potatoes and gravy, with one Vegan Option. (And obviously a lot of allergies to take into consideration). They met us with options at every turn with no hassle.

WOW!!! Just WOW!!!

The service was amazing from the start, making it super easy to plan the day. They went above and beyond with our food, it was absolutely delicious (Lamb Spit Burger with Baby Potato Chips - DELISH!!) and what they came up with for the Vegan option was just out of this world. (He was SUPER happy and said it was so much more than what he expected).

The vibe and the service on the day was great! We had so much fun. All of the staff is super friendly and accommodating and I highly recommend to consider them as an option for any company event, birthday, etc. OR if you just want to blow of some steam after work and have a drink and some delicious food and service.

Compliments to the chef, her team and thank you to all the staff who was so patient and accommodating! You guys are...

Had a wonderful experience here for our year end function. Great great great food, good prices, wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The head Chef, Michelle, is absolutely great, cooking everything fresh and from start. What a lovely spread and beautifully prepared with extra effort into it!

Thank you to our waitresses, Robin and Mashé, for your smiley faces and quick service delivery every time - keeping everything clean, including the tables, using your trays with no fingers in glasses etc. and new ice available all the time 😍 we will definitely be visiting more often. The place looks beautiful clean and way more movement space, love it!
