So went to sunny side milky lane particularly for the rich ice cream that milky lane sells.

When I got there as I was to place my order the menu screen did not work, I understood as technology sometimes glitches. I told the waiter not to worry I will go on the online menu with my phone.

As I was about to place my order she told me she only has two dips as she can only place two under heat at a time and the flavour I was looking for was not under heat. I understood that also.

I ordered 3 ice scream sugar cones. She had poured 1 and a half when the ice cream started to run out. She managed to fully pour the second one.

As she poured the third one she realised she had no spare ice cream and quickly ran to steers to pour “steers” ice cream. No consultation whatsoever to me to see if I actually was okay with that. She returned and dipped the ice cream and asked me to collect.

I then asked her if she was aware of the difference between steers ice cream and milky lane ice cream. She alluded that she was aware that milky lane ice cream was much richer. I then pointed to her that the reason I preferred milky lane was because of the difference in thickness, creaminess and taste. Which she confirmed she was aware of this difference. However the ice cream ran out and the two are of the same group so therefore she decided to use that ice cream instead and she also confirmed that the machine currently had steers Ice cream as they had ran out.

This is not close to acceptable, as a franchise you need to be serving the food of that specific franchiser. That’s what its competitive advantage is. That’s why customers prefer it. Otherwise we’d just walk over to steers for ice cream And the franchise group would have never thought to open a...

Rushed there just before closing time on valentines day and even though the lady was preparing to close she made an exception for us and put a lot of effort into our death by chocolate waffles, it was really appreciated and it made our valentines. Thank you for the great service...
