Elephant Coast Guesthouse is a beautifully maintained and charming place to stay, perfectly located in St Lucia. 🗺️✨|The guesthouse is run by a super friendly Dutch-speaking host who gave us a warm welcome 🤗 and lots of helpful info about local activities, recommended restaurants, and things to do in the area. 🍽️🚤🦁||Our room was incredibly spacious, with a large bathroom including both a bath 🛁 and a shower 🚿. We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the swimming pool – the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. 🌅🏊||🎉 A special surprise: our room was beautifully decorated for our birthday, which made the experience extra festive and personal! 🎈🎁||What made our stay even more relaxed: the host planned all our activities for us – from game drives to boat tours – so we didn’t have to worry about anything. 📆📝 We just paid for everything at check-out, super easy and stress-free! 💳👌||We didn’t get to try the breakfast 🍳 because we had early game drives both mornings (where breakfast was included), but judging by the rest of the service, it must be fantastic too!||And oh yes – thank you for the brilliant tip to drive around town at night in search of hippos… because guess what? Read moreWe felt very welcome. Owners and manager are Dutch and it was nice to be welcomed in your own language after one week of English and African language. We had a beautiful room with a balcony. Private parking. There were a few things different from all the other accomodations that made our stay even more comfortable; the manager told us everything about St. Lucia, she advised where to go, where to eat and showed us the (self guided) tours to be made. Tours could also be booked on site. This personal advice and knowing that there is someone who wants to think along made it more easy to relax. In the room everything was provided for, such as an adapter, a pair of scissors, towels for the pool and lots of space in the bathroom where to put your things. The entire lodge, garden, terrace is tastefully decorated to the smallest details. We were lucky to see the hippo’s crossing the street...
Read moreThe Dutch owners, Manager and national staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating. The Guesthouse was decorated with heavy and bulky furniture, so the general living area was not very inviting. However, we only stayed one night and they had beautifully decorated our honeymoon suite with flower petals. The room was very comfortable with a balcony and a nice view onto the luscious garden and pool. You are independent to come and go as you please. They provide good suggestions on activities and places to eat. Continental and English breakfast are provided. It is not suggested to walk in Saint Lucia at night, due to the risk of running into a hippopotamus! Definitely to be...
