To say that our stay was excellent is an understatement.

My husband and I stayed in the upstairs main house for a week with a few friends joining us for the weekend whereby we also booked the downstairs apartment units.

The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, with high quality kitchenware and certainly everything you could need to prepare dinner for 14 people. All of the bedrooms are spacious and has lots of closet space (great for extended stays) as well as very good quality bedding. The house is very tastefully decorated and each room in the house is unique. It is situated a street from the ocean and close to picturesque walking routes along the Kleinmond beach.

One of my favourite features of the house was the ample outside seating with three big balconies to choose from, all with a different view.

There are two braai areas, one on the front balcony and one inside the house. The inside braai area is also equipped with a pizza oven (which we used as the owner was kind enough to leave pizza bases in the freezer) and a pool table.

We’ve stayed at Villa le Roc a few times- once in one of the apartments and more recently in the new addition on the top floor (3 bedrooms). Both are absolutely amazing- the attention to detail, and beautiful interior really makes for a lovely stay. It can be booked separately or all together. The upstairs “home/apartment” has three different outside stoeps- which is just the best for entertaining- two have beautiful sea-views and the “gin-stoep” has beautiful mountain views. All the bedrooms are beautiful and all are en suite. The kitchen honestly has everything you need, complete with wine fridge, ice machine and De Longhi gas stove. Smeg appliances as well as Nespresso machines. It’s always nice going away for the weekend and being able to lay a lovely dinner table- the glasses and crockery and all the extras are beautiful! This is one of the best self catering apartments we have stayed in! Super comfortable with so much attention to detail.

Mirinda is a great host and.thinks of everything a guest could need.

We love the shower amenities, nespresso pods, lindt chocolates and the lovely Beaumont wine which was left for us to enjoy.

The area is super child friendly with tons of kids riding their bicycles, enjoying the beach which is just 5mins walk away.
