Bolivia Lodge Polokwane — Hotel in Polokwane Local Municipality

Nice guesthouse. It’s commonly used for conferences. It has a few conference halls. Wifi most of the time ok but you need to put login & password too many times. Hope they make it easier. And wifi didn’t work in the rooms! But it was ok in conference halls and reception area. In walking distance to Mall of the north. Though the walking trail not well prepared. It has a big campus and so much room for improvement. Like a running trail, bicycle track, a pool with slide, sunrise spot (in far end of the lodge very early morning one can see a beautiful sunrise, just needs a platform/bench), … Nice birds fauna on the lodge grounds (crested barbet, barn owl…). Can be nice to put a few signs with information about birds found around. Rubbish bins around rooms don’t have lids and cats go inside! Quite a one health issue. Can be nice if a bookshelf with some books in the rooms or at least in reception or next to the pool. Has a nice pool too. Food was ok. Just my first time to see squash with marshmallow inside and at least a few from our group believed not...

We went there to enquire about their venue hire packages and room prices for an event of 100. The lady who was at reception was so condescending and even using a pen to illustrate why she can only show us the venue we book a week before the event because people generally change their head count for events. We kept telling her that our numbers are confirmed and we can’t hire a venue we haven’t seen.

Eventually after a long back and forth. Only then did she say that the venues are preoccupied and we can view them the next day.

As much as this venue location was ideal for our event. The way the staff was not willing to help and very condescending. We decided to not proceed with the viewing as we would not like to plan an event with people who treat you so...

According to me the experience I had at this hotel was really pathetic I don't know weather the lady at the reception had no respect for us or wat the noise ryt until 3am banging doors doing all sort of things in the morning than from 6am in the morning banging of doors to screaming dropping of bottles plus we have a baby in the room my son called reception at around 1:30am but nthg has happened the worst experience ever I use to come here every tym but this tym it's was really bad as in really bad with the rooms no compliments it was fine but thy got to pay attention to wats was happening won't recommend anyone to come to Bolivia #bad experience u don't deserve no star at all a zero 😡I suggest url should be getting back to me...
