Cappuccinos @ Mall of the North — Restaurant in Polokwane Local Municipality

My experience in this store is dreadful! It was my first time and certainly my last. I went with my family ( 2 adults and two children 11 year old and 9 year old)

I ordered a starter ( liver soup) which was awful My daughter ordered a cheese burger meal-( the burger roll was stale and the patty. My son ordered a macaroni Bolognese which they serve 2ice--- the first serve, the sauce was sour as though it was left out of the fridge for days.... I complained and they hurriedly took it away and brought another one, and the macaroni has not properly cooked and they repeated the sour tomato sauce ( he couldn't eat it)

When they finally brought my wife and my order! 😂😂😂😂 It laughable , I asked for the chef and complained bitterly to him..... But still settled the bill and promised never to visit that shop again.

I went straight into Panarottis which was direct opposite and like usual they never disappoint.

We now laugh about our experience in this restaurant every time we were out to eat, which of course was often. In fact I could trick my kids by threatening to take them to this restaurant.

You can go ahead and check my other reviews of different restaurants I have visited they are always positive because I am not difficult to please. All I require is a friendly attendant, tasty meal and...

The best thing about Cappuccino's is the people. The service is terrible, but when you finally get some social interaction after being starved of a menu for so long, I guess there's nothing more you can feel but pure ecstacy at some attention. The food isn't great either. I've been there three times and I came away less enthusiastic about the food each time I walked away. The food, bar the pizza lacked seasoning no matter what I ordered and is usually dry, see fettuccine Al Pollo pic above. On my last visit, I got some sushi downstairs at Ocean Basket and headed to Cappuccinos for the drinks because they have a descent wine selection. As for the cocktails - a sugary mess. Unless you get a Bloody Mary - which is then a salty affair! The greatest experience, however, was shaggin' it up in the smoker's section, getting caught on camera and receiving two complaints: one for public indecency, and the other for having Ocean Basket at their establishment. It was smoothed over with an order and a tip, and the two bros didn't kick us out. Like I said, the best thing about Cappuccino's is the people. And maybe the wine selection. So unless you're looking to be a bit indecent in public, you're better off somewhere else. But then, it's Polokwane, so it might be the most adult place you can find...

My word, deplorable is the only way to describe this place. I've never received worst service than this place. One would think that a fine establishment like Mall of the North would allow such riff-raff like Cappuccinos. Never going anywhere near this place again.

To begin. Firstly we were ignored by almost all staff when we entered the restaurant before being approached and taken to be seated. Secondly, it took over an hour for our drinks to arrive. Only drinks. That should've been the cue to leave. Our food arrived another hour later. We ordered 4 items, 1 was actually what we ordered. On one item, the waiter had the audacity to say: "Just eat it, it's fine." Our waiter was so unfriendly as well. To get the correct orders took another 30 minutes and then we had to leave to catch a movie so we didn't even eat properly. Put it in takeaway containers and left. The place wasn't even that busy and was sooo slow.

What a waste of money. I would recommend going anywhere but Cappuccinos. Honestly wish I could rate this place...
