Amarillo Spur — Restaurant in Polokwane Local Municipality

I recently visited Amarillo Spur at Mall of the North with my son, and I honestly had one of the best dining experiences ever. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a lovely lady at the entrance. She made us feel welcome and even asked if we’d like a table near the kids' play area. She managed to find us the perfect spot, not too far from the play area and right where we could see the CCTV screen showing the kids inside. That little detail made such a big difference for me as a parent❤️💯

Throughout our visit, she checked on us constantly, making sure we were happy and comfortable. Our food didn’t take long at all, and both the meals and the desserts were beautifully presented and so delicious.

What truly stood out for me was her professionalism and kindness. She handled multiple tables yet still made us feel like a priority. I honestly wish I remembered her name, she deserves to be recognized. If I could, I would talk to her manager and ask for her salary to be doubled🙈😀 She clearly knows what she’s doing, and her service was out of this world. I did thank her personally that day, and I’ll definitely do so again if I see her on our next visit.

Extremely disappointed. We arrived and we were met by the friendliest waiter who assisted us to the table close to the play area. Later on we were assisted by someone else. We put our order in, as usual. The waiter did not write anything down. We ordered breakfast and added a few items such as mozarella sticks. The food arrived very quickly and we were happy but our mozarella sticks never came ☹️ The waiter, during our meal, never once came by our table to ask if everything was okay or if we were happy. This was odd because usually the service is great. By the time we were ready to leave, my husband was paying, he even gave a generous tip to the waiter but I noticed that we were charged for the mozarella sticks, which we never ate because it never came with the rest of our order. The waiter did apologize but we did not want it anymore. We already ate and we were planning to do a bit of shopping. Needless to say, we paid for something we did not want or have. The mozarella sticks were given in a takeaway box BUT it looked like a piece of melted cheese. We ended up throwing it away. I would like to add that the new sized toast is great but please consider more butter, one only covers...

Wow wow,! Great time was had. So much good to say. Best service- our waitress checked in us often ( not too much- just enough). Spur was so clean, they were very cleaning stairways, glass and rails while they were waiting for clients etc. They also sanitised our table again in front of us. We all had the unreal breakfasts and off course everyone had different top us and drinks and all came hot, correct and yummy!!. We were 7 people so quite alot to manage. Our chicken livers were even better than we expected and it was an all rounder delicious breakfast. Not to mention so affordable at R42.90. 😻 🥰 Perfect family time with our first grandchild addition and the atmosphere was so welcoming and clean. Music was just background, Best for conversation.

Bathrooms were pristine and everything was sanitized.

There is even an outdoor and upstairs section in this spur. We were a few minutes before opening time( 8am) but manager welcomed us in and even tool our drink order.

Like I say- definitely deserves a 5 star rating.
