Look they are not 5 star for nothing, the place is amazing the decor and setting of the place deserves 6 stars to be honest, the food is delicious and the drinks are as sweet as they are colorful, they even have a wine cellar basement setting with cool art which is quite the sight. I personally enjoyed the deserts which are unique, in design though my favourite desert was their melva pudding with custard, most places buy the custard to play it safe, and you can almost taste the altramel or clover classic which some of are sweeter than others, but they made the custard inhouse and it was served steamy and I found it rich in flavour, the cherry ontop the melva pudding just sealed the combined taste with a sweet touch. Unfortunately, after five years, I find myself needing to update this review. Guests are paying anywhere between 4,000 to 5,000 rand per night for a room, which should reasonably include basic amenities and services. However, when I requested a simple bucket of ice, the staff refused, citing concerns that guests might consume their own alcohol.

This policy feels incredibly petty and leaves a sour taste in the mouth considering the substantial amount being paid for accommodation. I recently stayed at Fusion Boutique expecting a 5-star experience, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The receptionist lacked professionalism and good customer service, making the stay frustrating rather than welcoming.

While the hotel itself offers great amenities, I must highlight a major drawback—the venue is not ideal for rainy days. The parking lot is inconvenient, making it difficult for guests to navigate in bad weather. This is something management should address to improve guest comfort.
