My wife and I are on a road trip to visit destinations that we have to date not seen. What a wonderful secret that Prince Albert has in the form of Karoo Rust! Johan an Leonie are the perfect hosts and they are attentive to your needs at all times. The rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Extremely good value for money! Johan and Leoni are the Best HOSTS ever. Visiting the beautiful Prince Albert on a business trip was made so much special and felt like a holiday staying at Karoo Rust. From the first step out of our car's Leoni was there with a warm hearty welcome and made sure ALL were in order throughout our 3 days stay. The rooms were very clean(spotless), comfortable beds and the service of the staff members were exceptional. We had a most enjoyable stay in this self-catering 'B&B' - in the heart of the Great Karoo. There are various activities in the town itself - including a most informative and fun 'Ghost Walk', and a well maintained, very interesting, Museum. This town, being on the edge of the towering Swartberg Mountains, is close to both the amazing Swartberg Pass, and the dramatic Meirings Poort - that is just such a great day's round trip if you have a head for heights.
