Great location to the beach. Sadly wasn’t the most clean when we arrived - cigarette stompies all around and fast food tomato sauce sachets just randomly lying on the outside table. The little yard needs some attention. White bath towels had big brown marks along the bottom. Front door has a big hole in the bottom. Tiny sink in kitchen with plug that doesn’t work - must one run the dishwasher every time you need to wash up? Skirtings and corners of the home need a good wipe and not much in the way of cleaning supplies( we only found a broom and dustpan). Really beautiful upstairs room(potentially very romantic) but the bed and linen could use an upgrade. Upstairs room is very hot being in the pitch of roof - definitely need some kind of fan up there for summer months. Many of the window blinds are missing the cords so it’s difficult to role some of them up, as they make a big noise when blowing around in the wind - needs attention. What a let down. This is our 3rd visit to this quaint little town and we were so dissatisfied. The pics on the website were very misleading. The unit is suitable for one couple and 2 small children. Seating is not sufficient for 4 adults. Very little cupboard space for longer stays. Kitchen is I'll equipped .Couch is dilapitated and dirty. It has cigarette burn marks. The bed in the main bedroom had very little comfort. That mattress needs to be replaced.No complimentary shower gel. 50 ml of dishwasher for 4 days in a town where crayfish is the main attraction. 2 Toilet rolls for 4 adults for 4 nights. The unit looks exactly like the images on most sites online. Our stay was wonderful. Our only negative feedback is that the unit smelled terrible when we came in. It was like the unit was closed up directly after fire was made and it got damp or something. We had to open all the windows just to get the smell out for a while.
