Dicks Street Apartments — Hotel in uMgeni Local Municipality

This was a lovely cosy spot. It was very central and close to shops and key attractions, while still in the centre of town. I'm really glad we came in earlier in the day as the entrance was not obvious and we needed some help from the guys at the coffee shop. But it was surprisingly private and quite despite its proximity to the main road. The braai area outside was wonderful and sheltered. There was only a pair of tongs for the braai, but none of the utensils needed for the pizza oven that the accommodation promoted. The apartment also noted that DSTV was avaliable but didn't make it clear you have your own account. Stunning. My dash was very happy with his own secure outdoor space. Only thing missing was a mirror in the main bedroom. I would move the big mirror in bathroom to bedroom and get smaller still round at Gelmar for bathroom😉 Was surprised how silent it was for being in such a great location. This is a beautiful, spacious apartment with a lovely patio with outdoor seating and a private braai area and pizza oven. We would have happily stayed more than one night. While it's a one bedroom unit, it had plenty of space and quality beds to accommodate a family with 2 adults and 2 kids.
