Could use improvement, Rooms color scheme is dreary, lighting is a bit odd, felt cold, TV's were heavily outdated(Not HD TV) and half broken pixels, bathrooms were excellent, A big disappointment on Wifi as you have access for 30min and thereafter have to pay and signal not good.
As reply to your reply Indaba: The room is 108 we clocked in around 14:30pm on a saturday, I had a voucher that was given to my friend and had inspected the room at the same time to see what we paid for. Don't get me wrong its a well established 3 star hotel, its just my preference regarding the colour scheme felt a bit dreary to myself and my friend thats all, along with the TV the pixels were damaged, seemed to be from transporting the TV as its got a massive huge scratch on the bottom screen panel along with 2 red lines running down the screen and its not HD not sure why you think i would just bring this up for no reason?, otherwise the bed, office area and bathroom if perfectly fine. Read moreI booked at the Lodge from the 27th December 2020 till the 30th December 2020.1st thing that didn't make me happy was the lock on the room.I was unable to use the card to open and have to always ask receptionist to come and manually open for me.I reported the issue several times and I was told that the maintenance guy was not available.If I come from the pool soaking wet I have to start at the reception(sometimes with new guests there)wait for my turn and have the receptionist to accompany me and open with the key.After several attempts and screams I had to make till it was done correctly.Another thing is the change of R336.00 that is supposed to be paid back I haven't received it.I called on the 1st to enquire and I was told to send an email with the bank details ,which I did.I sent another email on the 6th January and I was called by a lady named Nobuhle that it was processed by Finance team.IToday is the 12th January 2021,no payment has been processed and no phone call received.They have all my details but no decency to contact and...
Read moreWe booked a weekend at Indaba Lodge Richards Bay for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary in June 2024. Requesting with management if it would be alright to decorate the dinner table the day of their Anniversary to make it a bit more personal, they did not mind at all. Little did we know, they had another plan! We arrived a little earlier to arrange the table before dinner, only to be met by Management that they had arranged a private family dinner in their conference room. The dining area was beautifully set for our family to enjoy a very special occasion. Dinner was excellent, and the night ended off, with our waiter bringing a specially baked cake to celebrate their Anniversary - compliments from Indaba Lodge! Thank you so much.
