Big tip if you arrive in a car, drive straight to the "Empark le Grande" carpark which is under the plaza santa Teresa. Doesn't give you a ticket but goes on number plate recognition. When you come out of the carpark the main gate of the city walls is in front of you and just 2 minutes walk further will bring you to the hotel on the right. The reception staff are great and really helpful and we checked in early and explored the town. The rooms are big and clean including the bathroom. We didn't bother with the breakfast @ €6 as multitude of cafes outside do coffee and toast for €2.20 or even better churros and hot chocolate. A real must for me was the city walls walk. More information and tips on that look at my other reviews. A great place to hang out is the bars along the street from the main city gate just outside the walls. The bars are open till 4am and it's got a...

Rooms were ample and very clean. The location is unbeatable. Staff is in general quite accommodating. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is surgically clean. Breakfast is not really worth it. At 5 Euros it is not expensive, but consists only of toasts, cold cuts, butter and jam. A few fruits were available. The lady was very nice, but scorned me for trying to take a single cookie out of the dining room. I understand the concept of not taking food out of a buffet. But a single piece of cookie was not going to break the hotel. And about 20 meters from the hotel you have la Flor de Castilla, and Yakarta, both with great breakfast. In general a fantastic value and...

Within the city walls on a Saturday in wedding season & many hotels are full. Las Moradas is well location within the walls yet withing easy walking distance of a couple of carparks which at 16E/day we though was pretty good. We had a room facing away from the street so really quiet. The room and bathroom were very large & we also had a a sort of covered solarium. The breakfast was very good with an excellent selection including bacon, scrambled eggs & sausages. There are plenty of places to eat close by and a shop for any nibbles...

We were given a room with no window and they told us we couldn’t change and it was the last room. I didn’t think that was even legal. Breakfast is disgusting, and unhealthy, with only options of processed meat or cheese, bad coffee and a few packets of sweets. The interior is tired and dated. The people working at the front desk are okay. I mainly feel sorry for them working in such a sad hotel. If it wasn’t for them I would give it one star. If you want to relax and enjoy your vacation in this lovely city, this is not the hotel for you.

Great location in the Old Town only two minutes from the underground carpark. Staff were really helpful and breakfast was excellent. The hotel was very well presented and thoughtfully furnished. Room overlooked the street but was very quite. Couple of minor points, only noise at night came from banging room doors which could be resolved by simple rubber stud or strips on the door frame. Secondly not sure why a bidet was In the bathroom it made it seem to small, I guess it must be a continental thing. Generally the hotel was excellent.
