Apartamentos El Tranco Del Mar — Hotel in Almuñécar

We enjoyed 2 nights in el tranco del mar and loved our stay. The apartment we had was spotlessly clean and with 2 sets of French doors to open was bright and airy. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to cook meals. There was a washing machine for laundry and a clothesline on the balcony off the bedroom. The apartment was well furnished and very comfortable for 2 people although there was room for another person on the sofa bed. ||The location is just inside the pedestrian area of town so there is no parking at the apartments but there is plenty of free parking available around the football stadium about a 10min walk away. There are several supermarkets right near the football stadium as well if you are keen to self cater. If walking from the stadium find plaza Damasco and walk through the archway. There is a plaque on the wall with el Tranco del mar, just above a small shop selling handbags and jewellery. Enter the shop to check in. The lady in the shop was really friendly and is available to answer any questions (as long as its not siesta time!). ||The apartments are over the pedestrian area so there is street noise but we found it to be quiet at night. It is a short walk to the beach front and there are plenty if cafes and restaurants a short walk away. Overall a great apartment and good value for money. We would definitely recommend it...

Excellent location. A little over 100 metres to the beach. In the center of the town with a lot of small plazas nearby where you can eat and enjoy the sun. Small shops close by selling pastries, vegetables, bread, etc. Great restaurants close by. Less than a 10 minute walk to the bus station if you want to travel to other towns and cities. ||||The apartment is very clean. Cleaning and fresh linens provided weekly. A lot of nice small touches (the knives are very sharp, we had 3 Juliet balconies, washing machine in the apartment, reclining chair, powerful shower, fast Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, clothesline).||||The owners are friendly and helpful. ||||We were there a full month and felt right at home. Had 10 days in this lovely Apartmento, we found it just as the description and photographs described.. We were on the 4th floor via a lift or stairs if you felt more energetic. The apt had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and the balconies were an extra bonus when the heat was on. The location was perfect for the beach and restaurants in the old town, oh, and not forgetting the shops in abundance. We researched the area before we arrived and tried most of everything.
