Situated within easy wAlking to all the sights. On arrival Miguel showed us two available rooms so we could decide which we preferred. We chose a nice room to the front of the hotel which gave a lovely view towards the town. Easy parking on the street opposite. Miguel gave us a map and marked the sights and places to eat. He also pointed out the kitchen and sitting room facility which was spotless albeit we only made a cup of tea. But this would be great for preparing sandwiches for walking. There was also a nice patio to the rear which was good for relaxing after walking/sightseeing.||||The bar downstairs was great for breakfast and closed fairly early so was not noisy at night. Our first visit to Aracena and to Casa Rural Cinco Balcones. Miguel and his team made our stay perfect, attentive without being intrusive and was genuinely interested in where we’d been walking and gave us alternative walking routes. Our room was clean, plenty of storage and space for rucksacks, walking poles and boots. Shared kitchen facility had everything we needed. |The cheese and ham that Miguel has in his deli was absolutely delicious, we stopped eating dinner as we’d order a ham & cheese platter whilst playing cards sat outside enjoying the view of the Castle, stunning.|The town was lovely and locals very friendly and welcoming. |This won’t be our only visit as there’s so many beautiful walking routes to nearby villages to explore and brilliant bars in town to visit as well as...

My wife and I stayed in the La Umbria room at the rear of the hotel for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived Miguel and his family were the perfect hosts, although we couldn't speak each others language the use of Google translate and a little bit of effort on both sides we got along splendidly. Miguel is a great character and went out of his way to help us plan our stay with restaurant recommendations and times to visit the nearby attractions. The hotel is in a great location at the top of the village within easy walking distance to all the amenities.
