We stayed at the Yartan boutique hotel for 3 nights to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.||This hotel is beautiful, even more so than the pictures. It really feels like an oasis. The decor and setting is simply gorgeous and great thought has been put into the design throughout the hotel.||The breakfast is gorgeous - one of the best hotel breaskfasts I’ve experienced. It is also lovely that they have the option of an honesty bar and complimentary tea and coffee available.||We stayed in the Mallorca suite, which is their best room and it is stunning. The staff were so helpful, making sure I had an iron available as I mentioned the dress I wanted to wear for one evening was creased. ||We were also very touched that a bottle of sparkling wine was left to celebrate our anniversary.||The only criticism was the booking process. We booked a few months in advance when there was a 15% booking direct promotion and we were certain we wanted the Mallorca suite given it was for our anniversary. We booked this and had the 15% off and so paid a reduced rate, when we checked our booking confirmation at a later date it said we were booked into the junior suite. I contacted the hotel to query and they said based on the nightly rate we had paid it was a junior suite. I am 100% certain we had booked the top room it’s just we paid less because of the promotion and it seemed because of this they allocated a lower priced room - not factoring in the promotion. They did say the suite was still available and we could secure this and pay the €150 extra difference when we arrived (funnily enough 15%). I’m not sure if it was a language barrier or a communication issue, but we wanted this specific room so agreed to pay the extra, but it was a shame and not the promotion as advertised. I think they need to look into how their booking system is currently operating because there is a glitch somewhere. ||Other than the booking process it’s a beautiful hotel in a magical town, with a really...
Read moreI felt I had to copy my review from Booking, as this hotel truly deserves all the praise.
The location was perfect - within easy walking distance from Arta’s great restaurants, shops and cafes. Free public parking is a short 5min walk away, but you can easily pull up outside the hotel to unload bags.
The hotel itself is one of the most tasteful and unpretentious I have ever stayed in. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into its decoration and facilities - local art fills the space, and the perfectly manicured garden with its refreshing pool was an added bonus. An oasis of calm in an already quiet town, we could have spent hours sat in the garden relaxing or enjoying a drink on the terrace in the evening sun
The tasteful decor of the main building is replicated in the rooms - our suite was excellent; clean and well-fitted with an incredible bathroom and all the amenities you’d expect or need. The bed was large and comfortable, and there was a large fridge and Nespresso machine, along with the biggest TV I’ve ever seen if you’re that way inclined!
The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming - the owners, a young couple, went to great lengths to ensure we enjoyed our stay, providing tips for travel on the island and clearly have a great passion for their place and providing great service as part of the wider Arta community. Their attention to COVID-19 safety precautions was both professional whilst unobtrusive, a difficult balancing act that they nonetheless achieved effortlessly.
The breakfast was vast and delicious, and the honesty bar reasonable and a class touch (including the impressive wine cellar.) We honestly couldn’t fault it.
We would happily recommend this to friends, parents, everyone! The best hotel experience either of us have had for a long time. We will be back,...
Read moreThis Boutique Hotel was an amazing experience to staying in a small town on Mallorca. Rene was more than accommodating and kind to us. We arrived very late at night and he helped us get inside after hours even after the lobby area was closed. The hotel is very clean, extremely charming, the breakfast is hands down 5 stars, fresh, and flavorful. We are so very glad we found this place away from the busy streets of Palma. We were only 20 minute drives from multiple beaches and additional towns. So much to explore in Arta that is only a short walk from Yartan. The hotel as an amazing wine cellar that if it was late a night we could sit and have a night cap and just talk.
The only con we can think of is that parking is tricky here. The historic streets of Arta are a little hard to navigate and driving a car around them can be challenging. There is a parking lot near by behind the church and its a very short walk from there. It can just be tricky to do at night in a place you don't know the streets well.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a small catered to experience. It is very high end quality in a bit size place. The rooms are comfortable, the food is great, the location is charming, and the serve is wonderful. We can't wait to come back and visit...
