We spent 5 nights at Juz de Yartan. The Hotel is super nice, modern and I love the interior, its very clean and matches the village and overall style of Arta. I think Rene (manager) and his team are trying their best to make people feel welcome, but since it is a new Hotel theres space for improvement.
For example: I emailed the Hotel the day before to inform them about our arrival (we arrived before checkin time at 11) when we arrived, nobody was at the entrance and we had to look for someone for about 15minutes. Since we arrived by car and there is no parking infront of the hotel, we parked the car on the side of the Hotel, while we were lookign for help to guide us to the closest parking. In the meantime the police came and already wanted to fine us. Of course this isnt the hotels fault but it would be nice to receive some information before one arrives or at least encounter someone when you get to the hotel.
Since we arrived early we knew the room wont be ready yet, which is fine, so we received a coffee and then went to the beach. When we came back late afternoon, the super friendly waiter from the restaurant gave us our room keys with a letter, explaining that the formal check in with the hotel tour will be done tomorrow. This was confusing, since the person that did the formal check in the next day was there when we arrived.
We never received a Hotel tour, meaning: nobody showed us the premises like SPA, Wine cellar, rooftop etc.
Breakfast was ok, Maria and Carlos who worked at the restaurant part were super friendly and def. made our stay nicer. We also had Dinner one night at the restaurant, which was in our opinion disappointing. The food was ok but lacked flavor and therefore too expensive for what it was.
Its small things which that make a big difference and can easily be improved. For example before guets arrive, they could send an E-Mail and give information about the Hotel, parking etc and ask about the arrival time of the guests. Even though I sent the E-Mail about our "early" arrival no one answered it and there was no one at the desk when we arrived. Add information like "specials" during the time of the stay or informations about Arta and nearby beaches, things to do.
I still want to say that the overall experiene was good , but I do think there is room for improvement regarding the overall service...

Read moreReally nice and new hotel in a small and calm town. free parking only 5min walk up the street.
we booked a room in the partner hotel but due to construction from neighbours we were switched to the newer juz de yartan. we got a room upgrade and stayed in a superior room with a big balcony and view of the courtyard and pool area.
super nice and very clean room. only downside for some might be open bathroom and extra toilette with glassdoors.
really nice outdoor and pool area, great for relaxing in the afternoon and for breakfast/dinner
Very nice breakfast with option to order from the menu for free. only downside in terms of food there are no real snack options if you want a small bite by the pool to make it to dinner. ;)
