Casa Consell Bailen, Guest House — Hotel in Barcelona

This was the best place to stay during our recent visit to Barcelona! The location is amazing for exploring the city on foot, nice and central to everything. The staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming and helpful, during check-in and for the entire length of our stay. 'What's App' made it so convenient to chat with the staff as needed, even though I didn't have a data plan while traveling. The room was spacious and beautiful and clean. We loved the shared kitchen for making complimentary Nespresso coffee in the mornings, and storing our food from the markets in the shared fridge. Everything was really excellent. From the moment I arrived, I was shown how to enter the building, what my room was, general rules and that was it. I loved the fact that it was an apartment in a separate building and it was like walking into my home. Daily cleaning very punctual and very well done. Excellent location...

El edificio está muy viejo, y hay cucarachas, ruidos, y olores del bar de abajo. El baño tiene un extractor de olores insoportable y la cisterna hace un ruido importante. El suelo está destrozado y la ventana no cierra. La ubicación es magnífica pero necesita una reforma urgente.
