I’ve had the worst experience here from Alejo and want to share it.
When I checked in, the staff member was nice. She gave me all information about hotel. And she said they offer hot water and microwave for 24 hours. So I went to reception to get hot water at the night and there was a male staff named Alejo. When I asked him to get hot water, he said no. So I asked him again and mentioned what the staff member said during check-in. However he sighed and kept saying “It wasn’t me. The restaurant is closed so I don’t know”. I was flustered and waiting there. In the end he gave me hot water with very bad attitude. He urged me to take it. Also I asked him if I can get a cigarette lighter or match by any chance. Because I had a cake for my friend to celebrate her birthday. He sighed again and the answer was “This is not a supermarket” He was very rude. I felt so bad and I never had this kind of experience in a hotel even hostel. I also felt this was racist because I’m Asian and his attitude to Westerner was completely different.
It was my first staying in this hotel and I will never come back because of this experience. I’d like to share this , and please re-train him so that no-one has the same experience as me
In addition, please note that even though they announce that the restaurant is open until 11 PM, it closes around 10:00 PM, making it...
Read moreUnfortunately, we had to move from this hotel after 2 nights.
The main problem was that it is almost impossible to sleep due to paper thin walls. Initially we stayed in a room 100 with windows facing over the street and placed in a corner of the building so we didn't have many other guests around. However, we could here everything from the corridor, other rooms and the street. The area is pretty quiet but there was some construction in the morning after 8am. Also the room had a strong smell which was not gone after having windows open for hours.
In the morning we reported this to the reception and the hotel offered us to try another room to what we agreed. This time it was a room 408, facing the opposite direction and located next to a stairway. There we had the similar problem as in the first room: even though there was no smell and noise from the street, we still could hear other guests walking, talking, using toilet or shower and banging doors like it was inside our room. I consider myself a deep sleeper but neither me nor my partner could have a good sleep in both rooms.
On a good side, the hotel dealt with this in a nice way and they refunded me the rest of our stay. Both rooms were sparkling clean.
Another note is that there are no kettle or coffee maker and iron or steamer in the rooms. We asked for it but it wasn't brought to the room but we didn't care about this...
Read moreAttention!! The worst hotel I have ever experienced. Read along:|Upon arrival it was made clear to me that we were absolutely not allowed to make any noise, not to talk too loudly and the TV should not be too loud. All fine, the first morning I woke up to drilling noises in the building! So I was told that I should not make any noise and the hotel did not mention that they themselves had construction work in the morning. Furthermore, the rooms are very noisy (now I understand the comment not to make any noise) you literally hear everything (the cleaning lady who cleans the rooms next to you in the morning sounds like she is vacuuming next to you)|Furthermore, our passes miraculously stopped working twice...|The elevator takes an average of 5 minutes to arrive (if you have difficulty walking I would reject this hotel for this reason alone)|I travel the world for my work and often sleep in hotels for that reason. I have never experienced this before. Not to mention the arrogance of the staff when you say something about it. Madam could arrange another hotel, how about being honest and transparent. You are better off sleeping outside than dealing with...
