Restaurant Dos Torres — Restaurant in Barcelona

I’m writing to you to let you know that my birthday dinner was ruined by Dos Torres restaurant. All my family is truly deceived by what happened.

We ordered 5 Sirloin steaks with foie gras and one tartar.

Steaks came without foie gras ... how is this possible ?... When we asked where is the foie gras, the waiter left ans brought us 5 foie gras pieces on the plate ... The French fries we had 15 small French fries in a little bowl - the quantity of French fries was not the same in every bowl, we had an impression we ate someone’s leftovers. The French fries weren’t cooked !!! The meat was blue inside, though we ordered three different types of cooking. We returned the meat and the meat returned cut in three and four pieces that were black.

After that we left as the restaurant didn’t respect at all us as the clients... plus to this it was my 30th birthday and just imagine that this day I even didn’t have a dinner as it was a Saturday night and there was not a single table free in a good restaurant.

The manager Julio wasn’t even capable to propose us the bottles of wine that we took in order to compensate what happened with our dinner, so we needed to pay 120€ for the destroyed evening in a “restaurant” that can’t be even called like that.

I don’t know what happened with a restaurant that two years ago used to be great. Now it’s just a joke !!!

The food, the management, the service is below the...

Nach wie vor eine tolle Location: ein herrlicher, angenehm beleuchteter Garten vor der zauberhaften Jugendstil Villa. Doch, beim Reservieren beginnt es inzwischen holprig zu werden. Man spart am Personal. Erst mal drückt man sich endlos lang durch ein automatisiertes Computermenü bis man jemanden am Telefon hat. Dann heißt es"ausgebucht". "Den romantischen Tisch im Pavillon können wir Ihnen leider nicht geben". – Ok. Soll vorkommen. Wir erreichen, wie vereinbart, das Lokal, der Pavillon ist eingedeckt, beleuchtet, aber niemand ist dort. Weder im Garten noch drinnen sind Leute. Wir sind die ersten? Wir bleiben auch den Abend so ziemlich die Einzigen. Im Laufe unseres Aufenthalts kommen nur noch 2 Pärchen, um etwas zu trinken.
Drinnen wartet der hübsch eingedeckte Tisch direkt neben der Küche auf uns. Die freundliche, aber offenbar neue Servicekraft grüßt und von da ab ging's bergab.
Offenbar sichtlich überfordert tippt die Servicekraft auf dem Tablet rum und versucht, die Getränke Bestellung aufzunehmen. Dauert ungewöhnlich lang und es braucht schließlich 30 Minuten bis zur Ankunft unserer Flasche Wein. Wir fragen uns, ob man die noch schnell im Supermarkt geholt hat. Ist ja ein Mittwoch. Die Speisen Bestellung wird aufgenommen, die Küche hat eben erst begonnen. Da erscheint unser Kellner nach 20 weiteren Minuten , um uns mitzuteilen, dass im Grunde die Hälfte dessen, was wir von der übersichtlichen Karte bestellt haben nicht mehr da sei. Moment. Haben sie nicht eben erst auf gemacht und schon alles aus, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste sind? Ja. Tat ihm leid, dem armen Kellner. Wochentags zum Schichtbeginn, kaum Publikum und 3 von 5 Speisen aus. Na toll.
Bestellung korrigiert. Wir warten direkt neben der Küche eine weitere halbe Stunde auf die Speisen, die dann nur lauwarm an den Tisch kamen (haben wohl zu lang warten müssen). Eine weitere Order einer Flasche Wein scheiterte am demotivierten Kellner nach einer weiteren Dreiviertel Stunde.
In Garten weiterhin nur 2 Pärchen. 3 Servicekräfte mit ca 15 Personen überfordert.
Die Rechnung musste korrigiert werden: die berechnete 2. Flasche Wein war ja nicht geliefert worden.
Als wir nach 2,5 Stunden gingen, um endlich woanders Essen zu gehen, saß immer noch niemand im angeblich reservierten Pavillon.
Schade. Aus einem romantischen Restaurant ist ein Zeitarbeits- Restaurant geworden, wo die Gabeln...

Pre reserved a table advised Sandra vegetarian. Waiting staff absent of any joy, personality, or service. Turns out only vegetarian was the tomoto soup (with foam mind you) 'sopa fresca de tomates con espuma de burrata y enselada de piparras y anchoa' minus the anchovies and I kid you not a sliced beef tomato with some garnish 'enselada de tomates con ventresca de Arun y cebolla encurtida' minus the tunna. No change to the bill. The desserts were nice. In short only thing going for this restaurant is it's location and being able to sit outside. Don't think about eating here if vegetarian as it's a concept they do not entertain. Waiting staff were functional and dull. It was just so disappointing we went out looking to spend money and have fun. We ended up just...
