Gate and Wall of Finca Miralles it the entrance of an amazing building that was originally a country house, now it’s the Miralles house. It is located in Pedralbes neighbourhood.
The Gate and Wall of Finca Miralles was built in 1969 by one of the greatest architects in Spain, Antoni Gaudí. Its purpose was to surround the property of Hermenegild Miralles, a Catalan decorator, lithographer and bookbinder.
The fence was in part made by Miralles. Besides, the tiles of the roof were made in one of his factories.
There is also a statue of Antoni Gaudí in the entrance.

Read morePortal Miralles is a little-known work by Antoni Gaudí in the Sarrià neighborhood of Barcelona. Built in 1901 as the entrance to industrialist Hermenegild Miralles' estate, the design reflects Gaudí’s naturalist period.
The gate includes a undulating wall made from stone and finished in white trencadís, Gaudí's signature mosaic technique. It features a metal grille resembling reptile skin and a large trefoil arch crowned by a three-dimensional wrought-iron cross, a signature element found in many of Gaudí's buildings.
There is a smaller side gate that retains the original iron grille.
