We chose this hotel based on its location and were not disappointed. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood it was far less noisy than hotels in the city centre, yet it was still very convenient. The metro for all the tourist attractions was very close & it was also on a bus route. Park Guell was within walking distance and we even hiked up Tibidabo from the hotel. The only slight disadvantage was the limited selection of restaurants nearby and the fact that the hotel really only served snack food from its bar. From the outside the hotel looks unappealing, but inside it’s beautiful. We loved the little internal courtyards with their lush green plants. Our room was excellent, beautifully furnished & equipped with very comfortable beds. It was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay. The well-lit ensuite had twin basins, a huge walk-in shower, fabulous large soft towels plus a very useful magnifying makeup mirror. Every need was catered for: bottled water was provided daily, lots of extras were available free and the staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. There was even a voucher for a welcome drink for each guest, with a great choice of beers, wines or cocktails! Food at the breakfast buffet was extensive, though there was no facility to keep hot food hot! Our 3-day stay was excellent and overall the hotel was very quiet, restful and relaxing. (Unfortunately one night was spoilt by guests in a nearby room returning very noisily at 1am, who then continued to talk loudly until 3:30am - why are people so inconsiderate?) However we didn’t let this annoyance detract from an otherwise perfect stay. We would highly recommend Hotel...
Read moreThe bathroom in the room is basically a glass cube by the bed with a glass sliding door, so mind you there is no privacy at all if you are sharing a room. The was no fan in the bathroom so the room always smelled damp. The AC was set to heating according to reception, because it was winter, even though it was 20 degrees and sunny every day so we had to ask for a little fan to be able to sleep more comfortably. The hotel provides amenities upon request, the hotel bar definitely is the highlight with amazing food and very polite staff. The same cannot be said about reception, unfortunately. The person who checked us in, Fabio, treats guests in a condescending passive-agressive way and I was happy when I checked out I wouldn’t have to interact with him anymore. The service you usually see in this level of hotels where the staff at reception goes above and beyond to help you with an inquiry / request, is definitely not this employee’s work ethic. The other members of reception staff were polite. It is nice that they give you two cans of water upon check in and also welcome drinks at the bar. The location is alright, about 10min walk to Lesseps Metro station and has some grocery stores and restaurants in the surroundings, but it’s kind of isolated. The room was quiet and bed was comfy. To conclude, it is alright for the price but I...
Read moreI can only say that the room is okay. After all, the space is too small. It is quite troublesome to get in and out from the position on the left side of the bed. Don't mention it. There is no problem with the facilities and equipment. The shower water is big enough and the air conditioner is powerful. This The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is very close to major attractions and scenic spots. Almost none are more than four kilometers away, and they are all within three kilometers. The average distance is about two kilometers. It is so convenient that almost all of them can be reached on foot, and breakfast time is also special. The hotel is spacious, from 7 am to 11 am, the variety is quite rich, and fruits are all available. For a four-star hotel, the service is pretty good, the check-in procedure is simple and clear, and the city tax is paid separately, and the staff is also friendly Very enthusiastic about the price. It should be considered the peak season during this time. I feel that the price is a bit expensive, but it is not completely unacceptable. There are discounts for long-term reservations. Overall, I am very...
