The gardens of Parc de Turó of Putxet, are located on a hill of 178 m of altitude in the neighborhood of Putxet i Farró. The gardens of Putxet, were part of the old Torre España estate, owned by the Morato family. It is a very quiet place with a lot of nature ideal to relax. It’s quite big and it has different parts. You can not only enjoy a walk, but also children can go to the play area. The play area it’s a fantastic place for kids because they can run and play with they friends, and parents can also have a rest. Moreover you can enjoy of the beautiful views in all the different parts of the park. It has areas for dogs and a lot of people use it. The only major drawback of this park, is the existence of a large number of dogs that run freely for their owners. However dogs usually do not bother people walking through the park. In a word, it’s a very beautiful park and a fantastic...

This is truly a hidden gem in Barcelona. I did not know it was a hilly park so i was very shocked to see the amount of stairs! Definitely keep this in mind if you have trouble climbing stairs but on the flip side it would be a great spot for outdoor exercise. There is even a bit of stationary outdoor workout devices at the Mirador 2 location.

From the top you can get views of both sides of Barcelona. Tibidabo in one area and Sagrada Familia, Torre Glories and the rest of the city down below. Really picturesque and, I imagine, romantic at and after sunset (maybe a nice date idea!)

Only downside for me was (unfortunately) the amount of dog poop around. It is a dog friendly park so it’s up to owners to clean up after their pets. Thankfully most of it was on the walk up to the park and the ground level of the park entrance.

Hope you...

Nestled in the hills of Barcelona, this park offers a delightful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. With its lush greenery, winding paths, and stunning views, it's the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing afternoon picnic. The playgrounds and open spaces provide ample room for families and friends to gather, making it a great place to unwind and connect with nature.

One of the highlights is definitely the tranquility you can find here, especially during weekdays when it's less crowded. The gentle sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves create a serene ambiance that is ideal for mindfulness or simply enjoying a good book. Plus, the charming sculptures scattered throughout the park add a unique artistic touch. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this hidden gem deserves a spot on...
