I'm not a person that expects luxury when staying out of my home, for that, I have the tranquility of my home, setup in the ways that I want and I only hope for a bed, air conditioning in summer or heating in winter, and a bath to take a shower... I didn't travel to stay in a room after all...
But this hotel, really changed my mind...
This IS the way all hotels should be run. An impeccable down to earth, caring experience from the staff and the owners. I'm not going to use the "chic", "modern", "minimal" adjectives because you already read them somewhere else. It was pristine clean!
USB chargers on one side of the bed (too slow to charge though), and regular plugs on the other one (YMMV).
Breakfast was awesome, fresh squeezed orange juice? Toasts with tomato? Jamón or Tortilla? What's more there's to ask?
So, on to the things you "might not like":
Yes, you cannot park next to it. Just walk a bit! It's super beautiful town! (I'm so sorry for the people that cannot make it physically here, but that's almost the 90% of Cadaquès!) It's easy to get lost finding it. Just enjoy town while you find it! Carry less heavy luggage next time! Or... the hotel stuff can still go pick you up in a Golf cart!

Read moreWe stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of September and had a lovely holiday. The hotel is in a gorgeous location in the old part of the town up cobbled streets amongst the white washed buildings. ||||The room we had was on the top floor with a small balcony overlooking the front of the hotel where we got a beautiful view of the town down below. She was so helpful and welcoming giving us tips and a map of the local area. ||||A gem of a...
Read moreTramuntana is a nice small (only 11 rooms) hotel, located in the pedestrian part of Cadaqués (close to the Church) and just a few minutes distance from some beaches (not the best of the area) and the Casino (considered the center of the town)||||The common areas, (special thumb up 👍🏻 for the small terrace), where a breakfast can be served (12,50€ per person), are nice. ||Honesty bar is a good idea, because rooms do not have a mini-fridge.||||The standard room has a basic, yet modern design and almost no furniture (but despite that there are many shelves where to keep your stuff). ||||Carles, the owner and manager, and his daughter Jordina, are kind and helpful.||They also offer a free of charge ride in golf-car to pick you up from your parking lot since, due to its position, reaching the hotel is not particularly easy (at least for the 1st time) ||||Recommended. Very good...
