My friends and I had a horrible experience at this hotel. Half way through our holiday I spoke to reception about putting credit onto my keycard to buy food at the hotel pool and was informed that my room was being fined 100 euros for a long list of complaints. This came with no previous warnings, despite the fact that you are meant to receive two other warnings before that large a fine. I explained to the receptionist that none of the things that had been reported had happened; my friends bringing boys into the hotel, giving abuse to security, noise complaints etc. The receptionist was sympathetic and told me he would speak to the manager and that cameras would be checked the next morning when the manager arrived. The next day after coming back from dinner the woman at reception informed us that we had been locked out of our room and that we would not be allowed in until we paid 100 euros. We explained that we had already spoken to a different receptionist and were told that the manager was checking CCTV that morning. We were then given no proper explanation as to why the manager hadn’t bothered to check the cameras and were forced to pay the fine in order to get back into our room. We felt really vulnerable and scared as after phoning our TUI reps for help we were informed that the hotel could evict us if we got any other warning despite the fact that we had explained many times that we were innocent. We were then told the manager would meet us at 2pm the next day, which did not happen. We eventually met with our TUI reps at the reception at 6pm who told us the manager was checking the CCTV. We clarified a few things and were proven innocent and finally got our money back. The manager failed to apologise for how we had been treated, and never even showed face. The receptionists were as helpful as they could have been, given what the manager had told them to do. Extremely disappointed with the hotel and manager as my friends and I felt really disrespected and shamed for things we never did and were put in constant stress for days. Beds in rooms are unstable and move about constantly as if they’re on wheels. Food available at pool side is lacking. Had to go and ask for toilet paper for my room 4 different times. Never coming back and would not recommend to young girls or...
Read moreJust spent a week here and first impressions were pretty good ,the 2 reception staff Jamie & Diana were very helpful and even managed to sort out a great birthday cake for my daughter when we stayed. Which was really nice .
The breakfast is not bad could be better however could be more choice maybe .
We had to pay 100eu each for any damage that we may of caused, which after speaking to other people they never had to pay this ! Which I think is ridiculous you either all pay it or not .
The rooms are ok but the bathrooms definitely need updated and ours wasn’t very clean even on arrival (toothpaste or shower gel left on the tiles in the bath)
Also the floor for that full week was never brushed as it was covered in hair and fluff we also had to ask for towels on 2 separate occasions as these were not changed .
The bar was not bad ,but the prices are quite expensive and it closed at 9pm not that many people used it as the strip was literally at the top of the street.
The hotel is also a cashless hotel so you have to “top up “ your wrist band to pay for anything.
We paid for a fridge but it was more of a cooler than a fridge and you can’t fit much in which was about 40 euros, which expensive for a week , I personally think all rooms should have these as standard and if they do get damaged then yes certainly charge for them.
The hotel does let a lot of stag & hen parties in so it can be a bit noisy at times and trying to get a decent nights sleep is not easy as some people don’t give a monkeys about their noise at 4 in the morning after a night on the strip, if you value your sleep look elsewhere!
Overall it’s a decent hotel which good get better if they address the few things I’ve mentioned along with other people’s reviews on here. Would I return possibly but I’d definitely do it when it’s quieter times & maybe if they have some update of...
Read moreStayed here last week with the misses from the 16th of September for 8 days,,,,The hotel itself is very clean and tidy, and has that modern feeling, the rooms are very clean and tidy with fresh towels and cleaned every day, the maids do there job brilliantly and to a high standard, the only thing thats lets it down is the bathroom, it's very dated and typical Spanish 3 star but its clean and does the job...The breakfast buffet is nice with hot and cold food avaliable, there's something there for everyone, from a full English to a European breakfast. The pool area is nice and very clean, the food from the pool bar is also very good especially the pizzas 🍕....Don't know about the restaurant for lunch or dinner as we we're breakfast only.... Now saying that it does has it down side... This is not a hotel for couples wanting a week or more for there holiday.... It's more for 2-3 nights or long weekends for stag and hens who want to party its perfect for that, because that's all that was there when we were there, the pool bar shuts at 18.30 and then that's it, the hotel bar doesn't open and there's nothing to do there at all, but there's a pub across the road called sammys pub that's very good and owned by English,,,, So to round up in my opinion The hotel is not suitable for a couples holiday if you're looking for that hotel experience, but perfect for stag & hens, just somewhere to chill by the pool in the day then go out at night then get you're head down.... It's a nice hotel for that, and that's why I'm staying there next year for my stag do...
