As we visited Ibiza at the height of peak season, we were very happy that we were able to book a port-facing room at such a reasonable price. We did not have many expectations, but were pleasantly surprised at what we got for 110 euro's per night.||||At first we were located on the second floor, but moved to a twin room (as requested in our original reservation!) on the third floor from the second night. Although the first room was fine, the third floor room seemed a bit newer and also had better air conditioning.||||The location is really superb - all the super-yachts were moored right in front of our tiny balcony, and the view was always fantastic, no matter what time of day!||||Said balcony is really tiny, and there is only standing room, but it does add a feel of openness to the room. The room itself is small too and furnished with just the basics. But it really serves the purpose - one spends so little time in your accommodation anyway. The bathroom is miniscule, but once again adequate for getting the job done. One thing that must be said, is that the rooms are kept spotless - big up to the housekeeping staff who do a stellar job under trying circumstances. Try getting party animals out of their beds at a reasonable hour and cleaning a fully occupied hotel before the night-time madness starts all over again!||||Having said all the above, it really is a pity that the staff are so surly. Yes, they may not have the most upmarket clientele on the island, but with everyone being so friendly on Ibiza, it was rather disappointing to be treated like a naughty school student. The vibe in the restaurant downstairs was more of the same - as the hotel lacks a reception area where one can hang out with friends, the restaurant could easily make a few extra euro's by serving friendly ( and reasonably priced!) drinks. But the atmosphere was just awful, so we rather spent our time and money elsewhere.||||The street behind the hotel turns into pub street at night, so it can be noisy. But hey, you ARE on Ibiza and I presume you chose Ibiza Town for its many bars and restaurants. For peace and quiet, there are many other options on the island.||||All in all, a great little place to stay. And it won't...
Read moreOur expectations were low but they still managed not to meet them. The location is nice and the rooms were too for the price, however if you want to catch some sleep this is not the place.
We were housed in building C, which is right next to a rock bar. This in itself does not pose much of an issue for young party goers, as the bar usually got pretty quiet by 2am, so even though the windows basically provided no sound isolation, one could rest during the night.
However, the isolation inside the building is another story altogether. You could hear everything going on in the staircase and in the adjacent rooms as well as the piping (really loud, sounds like someone trying to slurp oysters who has no idea what’s they’re doing) whenever someone used the bathroom, which woke us several times. On top of that, opening the door to the building posed a challenge every time we attempted entering the facilities and we were not the only ones struggling with these issues. It was common to see and hear people struggling to loudly open the door 24/7.
On top of that, we didn’t expect any fancy creams but some kind of soap in the bathroom would’ve been much appreciated.
All in all I cannot recommend this hotel even for this low price and good location until they fix the issues with the sound isolation, which crippled our otherwise very...
Read moreNearly the worst stay we've ever had!
We had the superior room a25 with view to the sea in the second floor. OH MY, once we arrived/checked in, the room was all wet/slippery and smelled horribly of Chloride! The smell never went away during our whole stay. The room itself is super small, way to small for 2 people and remember, they call it a superior room. The bed is very small for 2 people and old/bad. We couldnt sleep at all in that bed. The bathroom is also VERY small and rust/damages everywhere. The space for the toilette seat is way to tiny for a larger person! The window with the view to the port is just bad. Very small window, wich gives this room a very claustrophobic feel. The whole room fehlt old and very cheap. Then we discovered a HUGE cockroach near the bed!!!! We informed the reception and they told us, the port of eivissa has a cockroach problem... Duuuuh... After that, we felt really unwell staying in that room. The window blinds are useless, once the sun rises, the room is a lighten up. The bar right beneath window, parties with late in the night, so it is very VERY loud! We regretted...
