Not having booked any of our reservations during our walking we were more than pleasantly surprised by the Leon hostel. The excitement of having an elevator to bring us to the floor needed, the clean welcome of the hostel and hostess was much appreciated. The open lounge/meeting area was incredible especially that wonderful balcony where you could sit, snack and watch Leon street life below. Our room was a double bed, with room and privacy to move around in. There was a great kitchen to use, laundry facilities as well as facilities for people with extra needs. The shared washroom were separated for males and females, very clean. Location was spectacular, just down the road from the Cathedral and square where you can sit and people watch, a supermarket right about the street, bakeries and restaurants surrounding the Hostel. This is well recommended, the only minor issue was we had the end bedroom and the wifi did not reach that far,...

Put a lacquer coating on the floor to seal it and they wouldn’t have anywhere to live. The crawl under the floor and lay eggs and live there and spray doesn’t reach them. ||||If you stay here sleep in a top bunk. Hope this helps someone,...
