Visited for one night on the way to another destination. The hotel has a rather old fashioned feel to it but staff are welcoming and helpful. We arrived late but there was coffee and cold drinks available at vending machines - even Cava and beer! Easy to find situated right opposite the station. Parking available at the hotel for €6 per day. The room was in need of some modernisation but clean and functional if sitter small for two people. The major drawback with this hotel was complete lack of privacy with regard to sound. We were on the top floor and there appeared to be a floating ceiling which ran across the whole floor and wasn't partitioned allowing sound to flow across all the rooms. We could clearly hear conversation, people coughing and unfortunately people using the toilet in adjoining rooms. There was also a rather unpleasant smell in the room when we arrived which may have resulted from the same lack of partitioning. Good wifi and breakfast available for €7 though we didn't try this. Good location and Good value at €42 for 2...
Read moreStayed for one night, we asked to change rooms twice, we booked a double and was confirmed, when we arrived they said they only had twin rooms left.||||The first room was small and only just enough room for two single beds, we were offered a second room, much bigger, but still two single beds only. ||||The hotel is situated in the city next to the main train station, there is free parking opposite to the hotel, next to the train station, after 6pm its free of charge but very busy.||||the hotel itself, is an old building that was very nice once upon a time, its decor is now dated but adequate for short trips, there is no bar in the hotel, only a very small dining room for breakfast. The rooms we were shown didn't have air con and were very hot in the summer, the second room was onto a courtyard where the extractors were for the hotel heating and kitchens. ||||nearby there are bars and restaurants, so no issues with refuelling with...

For €7 the best buffet breakfast. Cereals and fresh squeezed oranges, (and other juices). Selection of cheeses and cold meats. Bacon, eggs and sausages. Assortment of pastries and cakes, toast, breads and toppings including frest tomatoes. Fresh fruit and dried fruit and nuts. Coffee machine, just order what you want.
Accommodation up to date, clean and tidy. Good bathroom and shower. Air con did not appear to be working so opened a window. Not much English spoken but this was not a problem.
Close to a castle and cathedral on the hill, some walking around is required. There is an escalator and lift that helps a little. I would come...
