New Art Hostel — Hotel in Palma

eaerlier Check-in agreed but Problems when you get back at certain Time |- "luggage room" is an small place around stairways which was open to everyone when we came back|- Missing door knob took 3 times to get fixed|- Missing TOILET paper was not delivered after hours, wanted you to get your Single roll picked up at the reception lol (but true) |- no room Service at all on the third Day, getting new towels after carrying the old ones in a third elevator journey back to the reception |- Reception pretty Disintersted at any time - any Person. Really not a comfortable Welcome. |- Shower is huge like a mouse cage for a dog. You can turn yourself without any Problems if you are a bone |- no possibilities to put your usual stuff in bathroom or Shower (not expected in a Hostel but would be nice to have) ||Advantages:|+ nearby the great place of Portixol Beach |+ elevator (which you need to complain at the Reception) is pretty new|+ Air condition is working||||We booked this Hostel for a 3 Day vacation in Palma. Booked in March for August for a not to be despised rate of over 110 a night without any Extras (no Breakfast, special wishes, etc).|Checked in pretty early in the morning, it was said we should come back in the noon... No Problem, since we didnt expect to get in before regular check in time.|After we got back at agreed time, another receptionist told us coming back later since the room wouldnt be set up before usual check in. Short interception later the same Person told us, we can get into our room (pretty random). Got up with the elevator, for sure our room was the one with the missing Doorknob... Well this is just one of dozens of Things which made us upset spending so much money for a Hostel which isnt worth a quarter of what they demand. Have a look at the list above for Details since it would take hours to tell all the stories around. Have a look at another place and enjoy your Trip to the beautyful Beach and Promenade...

In a hostel that was 40 euros per night I didn’t even have a socket to charge my phone. Insane, right? I have NEVER SEEN this in any hostel including those where you pay like 10 euros. When I went to reception they didn’t offer me any change or not even a connector that would make it longer, literally said “nothing”. The bed in front of me had 4 ports! Mine had 0. What a logic! Disrespectful, unhelpful, inconvenient. Any stay you will find would be a better option!

Update: after writing this review the reception lady came to my room and started arguing with me, saying that I can use the socket above the bed of my neighbour, that was not within my reach and I only could charge if I hold my phone and if there is no neighbour present herself. After I accentuated that she went to another lady who had been cleaning the rooms and whispered "esta chica se esta quejando" about me. Then they both came to me, started attacking in front of the other people, the cleaning lady was nearly screaming at me. They went to check that other beds in fact did have sockets, because they did not believe me before. If you see pictures, obviously, it was constructed for any bed to have a socket or two, but then the owner tried to fit more beds in the room that was planned and they dislocated them chaotically to just have as many as possible. The worst part was when one of the ladies (the cleaning one) was about to take my phone and my charger without permission to connect it to the socket and I had to strictly stop her from touching any of my belongings. Then the cleaning lady offered to bring the ruler for measuring the distance! After i started laughing and trying to discover what exactly they wanted from me, like saying sorry for giving them their honest 1 star which they don´t deserve, they angrily left and never came back. Thankfully I only booked for one night and next day moved...
