If you're looking for a beach that's a little off the beaten path, look no further than Platja de Can Pere Antoni in Palma de Mallorca. Sure, it might not have the glitz and glamour of some of the more popular beaches on the island, but what it lacks in flash, it makes up for in...well, not much, actually.

But hey, that's part of its charm! Platja de Can Pere Antoni is the kind of beach where you can kick back, relax, and not worry about trying to keep up with the Joneses (or the sun-kissed, perfectly toned vacationers). Instead, you can just enjoy the simple pleasures of sand, sea, and a few too many mojitos.

Speaking of which, the beach bar here is definitely worth checking out. It might not be the fanciest spot on the island, but the drinks are strong and the vibe is laid-back. Just don't be surprised if you find yourself making friends with the locals - they're a friendly bunch, and they love nothing more than showing visitors a good time.

Of course, there's more to Platja de Can Pere Antoni than just drinking and lounging in the sun (though let's be real, that's a pretty good start). You can also go for a swim, rent a paddleboat, or take a leisurely stroll along the beach. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can even try your hand at windsurfing or kitesurfing (just be prepared for a lot of wipeouts).

All in all, Platja de Can Pere Antoni is the kind of beach that's perfect for anyone who's looking for a low-key, no-frills vacation. So come on down, grab a drink, and let the good times roll - just don't forget...

What a heartbreaking experience. From afar, this beach looks like a dream — turquoise water, soft sand, and the promise of a relaxing day by the sea. But step closer, and it’s an environmental disaster.

The beach is covered in litter — plastic bottles, food wrappers, cigarette butts, broken glass, and worse. The sea itself is no better — I swam straight into floating trash, including plastic bags and what looked like part of an old chair. It’s absolutely disgraceful.

It’s clear that there is little to no maintenance or care from the city or local authorities. No visible bins, no clean-up efforts, and no signage encouraging visitors to keep the beach clean. Tourists and locals alike deserve better — and more importantly, so does the ocean.

This place could be a natural gem, but it’s been left to rot under a mountain of garbage. Urgent attention and awareness to this issues needed - until serious clean-up and conservation efforts are made, avoid this beach...

Ignore the negative reviews. For a city beach this is 10/10. There are so many beautiful beaches on Majorca, I expect this is not the best one, however it is really good for a busy city beach! Sit centrally for free toilets on the beach. Easy to reach by all methods of transport. Sunbeds if you want to pay or plenty of space to bring your own things. Mostly families on a Sunday afternoon. A couple of bits of plastic rubbish - which I popped out of the ocean into the bin (all tourists and locals are capable of doing this!). Plenty of lifeguards. Plenty to watch: people, planes, boats, ships. Sea warm and choppy, but safe and easy to access. It was particularly salty, so would probably keep face out of...

The beach is not far away from the city centre and the Palma, La Rambla. However, sun beds and umbrellas are a little expensive. Got a sun bed for 6 euros and an umbrella for 7 mid June. I find prices a little high. The sand is soft and the entrance in the water is not very steep. Most annoying thing about the beach is that there is no shower of tap water for your feet. This means when you leave you will have sand feet and it's not very pleasant. BTW: it you just disembarked a Cruise ship in the harbour, this is one of the closest beaches.
