Stopped here in october 24 for 7 days while | out our villa in quesada.|We had the bottom left hand corner Apartment. |Just overlooking the new school.|2nd day we were there the builders decided to turn up at 07.30 and decided to remove some of the concrete Barrier between the apartment and road. Some had come loose. No communication between the hotel and us before hand if we had we would of changed rooms. Not funny being woken up at that time especially when we were late getting back in from working.|Especially it being a red day aswell. So had to get up and out the place because of the noise. Totally unacceptable. We did complain to the main hotel but didn't seem to care much. Apartment was a good size especially the huge bed and both of us having a bathroom each with both walk in shower which was also a lovely power shower. The amenities were all good, clean and looked after. Unfortunately the washing machine was placed outside the apartment in a metal box out the way of the kitchen where you would expect it to be. |Parking was an issue outside the Apartment block as the staff and School Staff parked their cars in the apartment parking spaces we even had someone with a camper van park there for 2 nights. And Noise from the bar especially on a few occasions from the Karaoke nights there. I've never heard such bad singing in all my life, so couldn't sit outside on our large terrace area outside the apartment because of the noise. |If you've ever heard a cat screaming that was how the Karaoke was..unbelievable..|We found that the apartment was a good size but it does lack Charging sockets throughout the place, one each side of the bed and one in the kitchen by the main door into the apartment that was it ..so had trouble charging phones or using a laptop. Anywhere other than laying on the bed. |The place also lacked low level lighting like side lamps. Most if not all lights were in the ceiling blasting out all night. |Overall we enjoyed the stay there except for the workers waking us up 2 mornings and the late noise from the bar down the road. But a different room would have sorted that out quite easily. But unfortunately wedidnt get that chance to change rooms. Both pools were out of bounds aswell including the areas to sit in on loungers even if we had...
Read moreHad the chance to stay in this apartment for 6 nights while spending our summer vacation with my wife and two teenage boys . The location is an area without public transport but I was renting a car anyway so it wasn’t a problem. Checking in was little of hassle as the number provided during booking wasn’t accurate and had to call and verify that check in is actually required at the La Laguna Hotel which is a block away from the apartment (about 700 Meters). The staff at the reception were friendly but don’t speak English that well. But can carry simple conversation which you don’t need more unless you face some issue . We stayed in an appointment downstairs facing orange farm which was awesome to have though in our first night we woke up on noises early morning around 7 am when farmers arrived to pick up the oranges . That didn’t continue for the rest of our visit thanks goodness . The apartment was clean and fantastic and has all what you need . TV channels didn’t work which we didn’t bother to ask to get fix. Wifi was weak in all locations except the dinning / living room . Swimming pools were small but fantastic to have it just to us alone during our stay. Lot of parking spots available in the street for free although there is parking underground which is not offered during our stay . In my opinion the apartment is great to stay at if you...
Read moreThe apartments are really lovely, nicely decorated and furnished and are immaculately clean. We were on the Sunset side of the apartments which overlooked a gorgeous orange grove and this is definitely the best side. They’re fully equipped and have a fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The only let down for us is that there weren’t any sun loungers at all by the pool, nor any shade. The pool itself is lovely. We asked at the La Laguna hotel if we could use their pool facilities and loungers but were told they were strictly for hotel guests. We found that very odd as you collect your keys from the hotel on arrival and you can book and pay for the use of the spa at the hotel but not use their loungers or pool. We were told that we had loungers on our balcony, so we had to use those, lugging them down to the pool but there were only two of them and there was three of us. So if you book here please be aware of that and you also need to take your own pool towels. Lack of shade is a problem, particularly if you have younger children. |The bar across the road, PJ’s was great, lovely, friendly people with a good selection of well priced...
