Botánico Restaurante — Restaurant in Rojales

We chose to spend our 25th Anniversary with a night at this hotel but never again! Half of the amenities in the Spa didn’t work, there were extra costs for entering the Spa that we weren’t told when we booked. There were a three course dinner included at the hotel bistro, a dinner that was the worst one I’ve ever experienced! It started with a 20 min wait for the drinks that we ordered (a bottle of Cava?!). The waiter excused himself with “we couldn’t find the ice bucket”... This was followed by a 30 min wait for the starter (the waiter had forgotten what we ordered) and after that dish another 40 min wait at least, for the main course which we actually had to ask for. And now they’re just starting to blame each other. It was a terrible evening that we don’t wish for anyone to experience. I took my a great deal of time to review this hotel and believe it or not it has been removed !! We had a dreadful experience - overpriced food- left loads of clothes in a wardrobe obviously by mistake on arriving home contacted hotel and told that nothing in there , we left bubbly , food etc etc , funnily enough they didn’t know about this either !! Under used restaurant ,during lunch time, well cooked food service is friendly and welcoming. Not the cheapest place in town but excellent value for money . Pulp de pastas is excellent.
