Having only had a takeaway from here the last time we visited , we wanted to try out the restaurant itself. This restaurant feels very authentic considering it is at the entrance to Quesada! From the decor, including chairs that reminded me of thrones, to the great selection of dishes. The service was great and the staff friendly. The restaurant is large with outside and inside space. When we arrived around 7pm on a Saturday it was fairly busy and as the evening went on got busier and busier. A sign of a popular eatery! After 5 poppadoms between the three of us, I went for a Chicken Vindaloo (loving a super spicy dish) with pilau rice and a plain naan. My wife and daughter shared a Chicken Tikka Masala, pilau rice , naan and onion bhajis. Our curries were flavoursome, a good portion size and well presented. The rice was fluffy and the naan breads were delicious. The bhajis were light and not over fried as some restaurants tend to do. Prices were on par with English Indian restaurants and including a large beer, small beer , sprite and bottled water, the bill was just over €50. The perfect end to our holiday. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area who loves a curry!

We stopped here by chance, it was a very windy evening & we were debating whether we could sit outside (because we have a small dog) when a member of staff invited us in. The restaurant is quite opulent & the staff very friendly & attentive. The dishes we chose were delicious, but everything is a matter of taste, on our second visit, choosing different dishes, we weren't quite as impressed, we would probably revert to the original dishes we chose, but hey nothing ventured..... What we really appreciated was the welcoming given & the allowance of our dog. I know this will probably meet with disproval from some (why take your dog to a restaurant?) I could argue why bring a toddler that tottered around the restaurant in-between tables with a flustered mum chasing him.... We know our dog is extremely well behaved (the couple sitting directly next to us were amazed that a dog had been under our table as they hadn't noticed him). We would certainly recommend this restaurant (not purely for dog reasons).

Nice surroundings, not to expensive, has some vegetarian food, and it was very bad, over cooked and flavours were absent, the nann was dreadful , sauces were terrible, absolutely horrible, anyway it was my fault as I thought it was an Indian restaurant, but it's not, it's Bangladeshi restaurant Bangladesh is to the south east of India, I should have read the Google guide it mentions it there, was a letdown, if anyone thinks this is nice food, they clearly have no idea what good food is, the sauces are completely different at a Bangladesh restaurant, ghastly.

This is a beautiful resturant and used tobe the best around but the last 4 years or so its not been as good as before needs to clean the chandeliers and another coat of paint would help. Seems they have changed cooks or are cutting corners!. Had a few bad experiences over the years but we keep going back and trying again. It's sad its lost its standards. Many dishes tastes the same and has lost its colour and richness of seasonings in their foods. Had a finger nail in my food a few years back and they did not discount the dish!!!!. Watch out for copy alcohol just becouse its in the bottle does not mean its original expecially if its your favourite drink !!. Found the waiters to stand at the table and argue a situation!!. Remember customers are always right!. Prices gone up and charge more then they say for day time meals. Owner is a nice guy such a shame the food is not like it used tobe fresh and full of flavour and...
