Wife, 3 kids and I went for a meal this evening at the Gayma restaurant... Awful. Sat down for 5 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order. "The house speciality for the day is 6 hours slow cooked lamb, Sir" the waiter said. Wife wanted fillet steak... Not available. (So had to replace with sirloin.) I ordered the house speciality... Good God, three lumps of the fattiest lamb I had ever seen arrived, pinched it between my fingers and it was cold to the touch. No wonder it took 6 hours to cook if you're cooking it in the fridge ! (Sent the dish back and opted not to replace). Additional order of chips did not arrive which they tried to charge for. Kids decidedly unimpressed with their meals... Left 45 cents tip. Would...

The food was very good and the waiters were friendly. They were a bit over the top for my liking, as if they were putting on a show for the tourists. Not my thing, but nobody else seems to mind.

One star deducted for lack of flexibility on order. We wanted salmon with chips, but they only provided it with baby potatoes. We were not able to replace these with chips, as in most restaurants, so had to order an additional side-order. Disappointing and hard to understand.

Another star deducted for lack of value for money compared to other restaurants close by. Just walk two minutes further away from the beach and you will find a selection of restaurants less frequented by tourists with much better...
