Apartamentos Camino de Santiago — Hotel in Sarria

Unless there's no other place to stay then i would not pick this place. We prebooked this place months ago. We should have read the reviews before booking here. Everyone is pretty much spot on. I had a difficult time getting the owners to respond when we arrived. No one came to show us the place. Although, we may have benefited from the criticisms of the other reviews since some items appear to have been fixed like the shower curtain. This apartment needs updating. We have stayed in 9 apartments so far in this Camino. This was the only one that was not as well supplied and maintained. Although cleaned, the apartment looked very tired. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. It hardly had pots and pans. No paper towels. No oven. This mattered because we prepared dinner. There were no wine glasses. There was a washing machine but had a broken handle so it was useless. The beds are springy and noisy. My wife had 2 bedbug bites even with her liner. No bulb on the bedroom lamp. Hangers fell apart. The common bath was too tight between the toilet and the bidet.

In the other reviews the owners stated they own many other apartments. Maybe this is the problem. They are have too many so not all are being maintained and...

Completo la reseña de Patricia Pérez ya que nos alojamos juntas. Al llegar no nos pareció mal el piso ya que las instalaciones la decoración y la ubicación es buena. Pero lo primero no trajo las credenciales que dijo que nos traía (que esto realmente no tiene importancia) Nos fuimos a comer y al volver y ducharnos es verdad que las toallas llamaban la atención por estar demasiado desgastadas, pero bueno pase también. Nos acostamos y cuál es nuestra sorpresa cuando mi amiga se levanta diciendo que había bichos (eran chinches)en su cama y en su habitación 😱😱 Eras las 12 de la noche y nos pusimos a ver si estaban así el resto de habitaciones. Encontramos también en el salón 😐. Mi amiga se cambió a mi habitación para poder dormir, ya que comenzábamos el camino a la mañana siguiente. No descansamos nada pensando en que salieran también en el resto de habitaciones. A la mañana siguiente dejamos las maletas como la chica del piso nos dijo y cuál fue nuestra sorpresa cuando en mitad de la etapa nos llaman de correos que no pueden entrar a recoger nuestras maletas. Intentamos hablar con ella y no hubo forma. Le comentamos lo de las chinches para que lo tuvieran en cuenta para futuros inquilinos y no hemos obtenido respuesta hasta el día de hoy. Por lo que hemos podido leer hoy ya le ha pasado a más gente. Error nuestro no leer las reseñas antes...

We were two couples and stayed here before embarking on the Camino de Santiago. It was well fitted out with a good sized bathroom, open plan lounge & kitchen and two reasonable sized double bedrooms. There was everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. Our host was friendly and helpful and gave us all the info we needed for our stay and for starting the Camino the next day.
