Unfortunately, we didn't have anything like the positive experience of other reviewers. We never met the host. Instead, the guy from the restaurant across the lane give us our keys and motioned us to go upstairs. No instructions or greeting. He didn't know about wifi or kitchen. Our room had dirty floor, cobwebs covering the windows.Sheets were clean. Shared bathroom had mold in every corner of the shower, hair on the floor. We were the first ones there for the day as far as we could tell, so that's after cleaning. Mop and bucket with dirty water in the corner. This place may have been lively at one time but now its just dark and creepy. Texted and emailed host about wifi, kitchen, terrace and laundry as described on the website. He sent an email at 10pm with wifi password but we were already asleep, didn't answer any other questions. We never found the laundry area, terrace or kitchen, all doors were locked. The stamp was a regular ink pad one left on the counter so not sure what was...
Read moreJose Luis provided utmost attention and care while we stayed. The clean linens and towels and shower gel And shampoo were most welcoming. He is a very very busy hospitalero but also very kind. The house has much character but is also renovated for modern amenities and the plants leading up to the 3rd floor clothes drying area are also very beautiful! I would return again just to have a chance to listen to more of his stories. From a pilgrim to a hospitalero but always a pilgrim at heart so he understands. Thank you so much we hope to return and stay with...
