Apartamentos FV Flats - San Felipe Neri — Hotel in Valencia

Disappointing experience. We arrived late on a Friday night and had a nice welcoming, as we entered the apartment (purple) the AC was switched on by the host, after settling down and after 1 hour we began to realize that the AC isn't cooling at all. So here we begin, I contacted the host and informed him about our issue, the response was: "sorry, but it is hard to get a maintenance guys on Saturdays" so I told him that this is disappointing because we haven't slept well the first night because it felt like sauna (room thermostat reads 30 degrees 🔥), and then I demanded compensation. They gave me three options: 1- A refund of 200€ 2- leave the apartment and get a full refund (except the first day) 3- wait till Sunday 4pm, we found a maintenance guy. So we chose the last option, Sunday comes "oh sorry but the maintenance guy isn't answering" !!!!! We tried looking for other properties but it was somewhat impossible. 😊: the apartment had everything we needed. It was modern, light, clean, comfortable and was decent size. It had a good outlook over the square. The location was excellent - we could walk to the science museum area and the old town in 25 minutes.. 😢: I did not find the parking instructions very clear or the the instructions to enter the apartment. Number 7 includes two separate entrances and I started at the wrong one without realising or expecting there to be another. The access to the basement for parking relied on using a key in the actual lift and this was unusual and unexpected to me. Someone was available from 4 pm and helped but the hours of someone available could have been better. Also the keys to the parking were in the room so we had to park, get the keys and then park again. The end result was that checking in was frustrating and...

😊: The spaciousness of the apartment was great and nicely furnished. Great supermarket right downstairs. The apartment manager was very attentive when we asked for duvets and informed him about the broken kettle.. 😢: The location was quite a distance to the Harbour/beach and the old town and the Science & Arts Center. Main attractions not in walking distance. We booked and paid for 6 people, but there were only 3 beds available (2x double + 1x single) , with one person having to sleep on the couch.
