Quite disappointing in the end with this place. It seems like a really cool concept and from what you see on social media, it looks great but the reality is much different. We went there for the Octoberfest themed event they were having. They had 5 Octoberfest themed food items to offer but only had 3 out of the 5. We were not there late in the evening so not sure how they ran out of preztels and apfelstrudel before 9pm, especially when they promote an octoberfest themed evenings for the whole week. They said it was due to the amount of people but the venue works based on reservations so not sure how you can miscalculate this. From the things that they did have, it all seemed to be prepared in large quantities and without anything special. The bratwurst came plain with sauce packets on the side. Later on we were told there was a sauce truck where you can go put sauces on. The owner said that the staff was new and not well trained. What they promote on instagram is VERY different from what you get at the place. Other guests received much more elaborate dishes that look like what they have online so not sure if that was a different food truck or not as nothing was really explained. We also ordered what we thought were "mini burgers" that just turned out to be a larger burger that was cut into 6 pieces with different toppings put on each one (See image). Considering the price you pay for this is practically double than a normal burger, I would have expected something different. We also received two orders of the same thing and when we spoke to the owner, he offered it to us for free but in the end when we got the bill, they tried to charge us for it! It is a shame that the service was also impersonal and very much focussed on a quick turn around rather than the quality of the experience and the food. Perhaps it would be different to go there on a normal evening, but given this experience, I wouldn't go back and neither recommend anyone to go as your money is better spent elsewhere. What a shame....
Read moreThe industrial design really makes this place special. It's very spacious, even if there's a crowd, you don't really feel uncomfortable. It is family- and kid-friendly, there is a big screen for La Liga and other sports, and they have a good beer selection as well. The food is being prepared in separate (open) kitchens which are foodtrucks basically, so the atmosphere is closer to a festival than a restaurant or a pub 😊 I'd recommend their roll called 'La Cabra Tira Al Monte' - one of the best burritos I've ever had. The waitresses and waiters are also great. Two important details: 1) they use whatsapp for ordering so you have to add them upon arrival and always send them what you want 2) kitchens open at 19:30 (at least they did...
Read moreA very disappointing evening. We went for Oktoberfest on a Friday night, only to be told that they didn’t have 2 out of 5 German specials they were promoting; this was at 8pm. The waiters were rude and when expressing our complaint to the manager he wasn’t able to provide an explanation, just that they didn’t expect to be so busy. I’m not sure how this could be true as you have to book your table in advance. Even when things don’t go as planned, waiters’ and owners’ attitude can change your perception of the place, but in this case it seemed they didn’t care much about our experience and if we ever come back or not. Overall, a waste of money and an evening that ended with frustration so we will not...
