worth it and reasonable. only downside was the wifi. it was erratic to say the least. the beach is a walking distance. plenty of space on the beach in the height of summer. water is safe and the kids loved it. would be helpful if you hire a car though as we found things a bit limited when we went shopping for fish and meat. The local supermarket which is a 5 minute walk from the camp did not have these things. if we had a car we could have nipped into the city which is a 10 minute drive and bought stuff from Carrefour ( hope I spelt that correctly). Cycle tracks were brilliant , cycles were available for hire. Not much to do and see there other than relax on the beach and the camp site pool. We did 8 days beach and 6 days Valencia city which was stretching it a bit too much especially with a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old. should have done 5 days beach and 3 days city with car hire. people very polite and helpful, the in house pub guy was helpful too. we also took a boat ride on lake albufiera which I believe would be lovely during sunset. We were baking in the heat at 6.30 pm. The lake is not spectacular but the size of it is great, only one boatman speaks English ( of course we did not get him) so we listened to the Spanish commentary and nodded our heads). it is one of the things to do to tick on your list.||would I go back there- if I ever go back to Valencia I would definitely...
Read moreThis is not the campsite we usually choose but Coll Vert was full and they told us to try a couple of others, saying this was good. We didn't arrive till 7.30 pm but they had a space. It is a good location, on the cycle track and bus route to Valencia so far more convenient than Coll Vert and nearer to El Saler village. Cycling down the boardwalk is good and beaches here are OK considering the local terrain and proximity to city. We had viewed this site out of interest before but thought pitches might not suit us as well as Coll Vert. However our experience has been exceptional. Reception was welcoming and efficient. Pitch was hard packed, generous and hedged. We were close to washrooms which I think have been updated and are excellent. Site busy but no issue in washrooms and quiet enough late night. We didn't use the pool but young family next to us seemed to be in there having fun all day. We came for a family wedding in Valencia and the journey couldn't have been more convenient....
Read moreVery small, quiet, and modest campground with good access to the city center. A bus stop is just across the street with frequent bus stops into the city. The facilities were clean and well maintained, with enough bathroom stalls, showers, and sinks to service the campers. There is also laundry, dishwashing, shaded picnic tables, and a small playground on the facility. The grocery/convience store was not open when we were there, but the restaurant around the corner was although we did not eat there. We parked our camper van (5m VW California) in the camper lot. It was shaded, but the poles supporting the sun shades can be very difficult to navigate around especially if you have a longer vehicle and the lot is full. The other sites with electricity hook-ups were quite nice with hedges separating them for privacy **Note: the other pictures on google reviews were misleading; there is no pool or large playground...
