This is the absolute best and cutest thing you can possibly do while you are around Valencia or like us in Sagunto. The Guide is so attentive and even speaks English!!! He explained everything so well and guided us through the lake like a pro. He also is the only one using an electric motor with his boat which makes for a quiet ride and is amazing for the eco system. You can even bring your dogs!!! We had the best time ever and we honestly learned so much about Albufera, which was all thanks to our guide. I recommend taking the sun set tour, it’s about an hour and it is breathtaking. You might wanna wear long sleeves or use some mosquito spray but don’t worry if you don’t have any, the guide has some in board. You also get some maps and information that is printed out in English, Spanish, German and French so even if you don’t speak English or Spanish you can still participate. Everything he says is also on the cards. Obviously he explains it very well in detail but you get the point. We had a great time on the boat! We were about 15 people and our guide was AMAZING : he provided us with lots of details on the birds, the history of the Albufera itself, the rice crops, ... Even though we are French, he was speaking slowly enough so that I could have enough time to translate to my group.
